We choose this hotel because of the location near to Pasar Atom, we never visit this area before and found out this hotel just 5 min walk to Pasar Atom, and if you know "Kya-Kya" food court area it is also walkable from this hotel. Concept of this hotel is vintage but classy, room was spacious compare with other hotel in similar level, clean and well maintain. all staff were helpful and accommodating our request. there is no fridge or minibar in the room but you can keep your food or drink in their restaurant fridge, not a big deal for us. For sure we will recommend this hotel to others.

We chose Kokoon due to its proximity to Tanjung Perak, the harbour. The website made it look great....and its cheap...and it is really, really good. Its new, clean and shiney. Its a beautiful design based on colonial period. Staff friendly and helpful with reasonable English. Rooms clean and comfortable. The pool was new and sparkling clean. Breakfast was a feast of variety and deliciousness. Much better than all hotels Ive stayed at in same price range. Other meals were great but a little expensive.

A classy and spacious restaurant

Two weeks ago, my father, my aunty and me went to the Kokoon hotel for lunch. Kokoon Hotel is located in a secluded location in the middle of Surabaya. You need to know the exact turn to get to the Hotel entrance. However, once you are inside, the entry is without a fuss, and you can spot the restaurant directly. The Kokoon Arch Bistro will give you a glimpse into Surabaya nostalgia in late 1900. The decor is favourable to the old bank equipment and spacious space. You can also enjoy the art deco-style tiles that enhance the restaurant's details. There is Indonesian, Oriental and Western food on the menu. Yet, the choices aren't that many. The food and drinks are good, but the service from the staff needs more improvements. Overall for me, it was a good experience.

Lovely new hotel in Banyuwangi.

This is a lovely hotel with an exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. The guest room is handsome and well-appointed. The views of the sea and mountains are inspiring. My only complaint was the noise from above and next door. The room flooring is tile with a wood design. Good-looking, but I heard furniture and footsteps that, I feared, could have ruined my sleep. Luckily, the neighboring guests must have slept as well so I never complained to management. But I came close.

Hidden gem vintage Hotel in Surabaya

It's quite confusing when we followed the maps direction to this hotel, they have to entrance, back and front, we thought had arrived in the lobby area, apparently the maps directed us to the back entrance. We arrived almost midnight and very tired after driving from Semarang, so what we really need only sleep. When we arrived in the room, I was surprised because there's no chiller in the room and it's very dark. The room was very spacious, maybe because it's an old hotel so it's quite a big room, but the room and foyer are have minimize lights. They also only have local channel there, thankfully the wifi connection was good, so we didn't mind with that. We enjoy the restaurant and lounge area design, they're displayed many antiques/vintages stuff there.
