Charming Hotel with all Mod-cons

The manager gave us a lovely welcome and a choice of rooms. This hotel has just been modernised and though it still retains its old French charm, it also has an up-to-date bathroom, well equipped with strong shower, fridge, safe, sockets galore. Our room overlooked a quaint courtyard. We parked right outside foc, as we left early the next morning.

Sited a couple of hundred metres from the town centre, easy access to restaurants. The hotel has a garage and street parking (payable) Room 20 on the first floor was very quiet, shutters and curtains so a good dark environment for sleeping. Facilities resembled those in a good chain hotel, for example, slippers, good size TV, minibar, plenty of power points, excellent ample size rain shower. Price was reasonable, our only complaint, the poor quality and lack of choice for breakfast.

A quaint dated hotel in a quiet area of town. The rooms are large and clean,with ensuite. But our room didnt have A/C. near buy are some Reasturaunt's and bars. It also has the bonus of a garage 2 mins away. This is a secure garage with key code access.

a nice and comfortable place, down in city center. Good breakfast in the morning, very efficient and kind staff. Mr Phalippou was so helpful to us: we had a problem with our car and he helped us a lot finding the garage to have it repaired, so that we could go on with our holiday. The hotel was also hosting some of the events of the Tango festival. If we go back to Tarbes, for sure we will stay at Hotel Henri IV.

The hotel is clean and tidy. A good sized room, modest-sized clean, tiled bathroom. Plenty of storage for bags etc. Tarbes was a stop over for us and not a destination, nor is this a destination hotel. Overpriced for what you get if you walk in off the street as we did. A three star but no air-con. Parking in a secure garage 2 minutes walk away for €6,00 but we parked in the street outside the garage for free. Good wifi. Breakfast is an extra.
