Lovely Hotel in the Middle of a Golf Course
Avaliou em 19 de Outubro de 2021
Core of hotel is a Georgian manor house but most of hotel is very modern. Surrounded by golf course so close you wonder if the odd stray shot ever hits the hotel! Pleasant modern rooms - though note that if you are staying on the second floor there is no lift. There are also quite a few steps in the hotel. The restaurant menu was ambitious and well above average. Disappointed that the strawberries with the cheesecake were tasteless and out of a tin - should heave been fresh. Service was very slow. Came in for dinner at 7.00 and meal not over till 10.25! Far too long between courses. Lovely views of Tewkesbury Abbey one way and the Malvern Hills the other. I recommend this hotel,
Our fantastic mini-moon

Booked at late notice the day after our wedding. We chose the 'Touch of Class' room with breakfast and dinner included and we couldn't believe the incredible value for the money when we booked. Greeted by the amazing Hannah in reception who wanted to accommodate to us as best as possible was as huge blessing, as we enquired about an upgrade if possible, checked with her manager, then 30 seconds later came back to us with the news that she was upgrading us to the Lord Hastings suite. Not knowing what came with the suite we were shocked to find how big this suite was upon entering! Huge king size bed, seating area, tons of wardrobe space, free standing bath and huge walk in waterfall shower, window view if the 18th green and stunning backdrop, we instantly fell I love with it. I managed to book 2 tee off times at late notice, course was absolutely pure and well maintained, cheaper greenfees for residents also! They even managed to squeeze in 2 late spa treatments for my partner, which was a godsend as it is normally booked up for a weekend! Everyone at Tewkesbury Park were incredibly accommodating. Both Breakfast and Dinner were great and 24 hour bar was brilliant. We will 100% be back and would consider paying for the suite again just for the experience.
Beautifully refurbished garden room, unhelpful staff and noisy fellow guests

Our party consisted of two couples. We chose this hotel to meet because of its location, golf course and our previous experience; having enjoyed several reunions here over a number of years. Our greeting by the receptionist was a little surly but the newly refurbished bedroom was beautifully appointed and the weather was set fair.
We were looking forward to a peaceful chat over our evening meal. Unfortunately we were placed on a table in the dining room beside a large party of male golfers. As the evening wore on the decibel level increased in line with the alcohol consumption to a degree that made it impossible for us to conduct a conversation. In addition the service was slow and the staff failed to deliver our desert. After a reminder this eventually arrived some 45 minutes after ordering by which time we were the only guests remaining. We retired to the "peace" of our respective rooms only to be greeted by the sound of persistent barking from a dog nearby!
The restaurant manager had apologised when we reported what an awful evening we had experienced and offered to ensure that we were seated in a quieter area the following day showing us the table he would be allocating for both breakfast and dinner. Unfortunately this was not initially honoured at breakfast and at dinner one member of our party had to overcome claims of impossibility that this could happen together with outright rudeness from one member of the restaurant staff.
We did enjoy the garden rooms and because the weather was so favourable were able to enjoy the well-appointed patio area whilst 2 of the party enjoyed a round of golf. However, we will not be returning.
Amazing Sunday Brunch

We enjoyed a fabulous Sunday brunch last month here. We were really impressed with all the safety aspects, staff wearing masks, tables well spaced etc.
The food was delicious! Lots of variety and choice and we all left feeling very full! Good value for money too.
Staff very welcoming in the restaurant and really helpful, nothing was too much trouble. One of our family members was a coeliac and they catered for him brilliantly- he said he’s never been looked after so well when out for a meal.
The weather was nice so we were able to sit out on the lawn in the sunshine with a drink and enjoy the views and the giant garden games which the children loved.
Thank you Tewkesbury Park. We’ll be back!
Amazing dog friendly hotel

We booked the puddles pet package which was a 2 night b&b plus afternoon tea and three course dinner.
Dogs breakfast and dinner included.
The hotel is set in beautiful grounds and hosts an 18 hole golf course plus a spa facility.
We were greeted with very friendly staff and enjoyed a lovely afternoon tea with Tattinger champagne . It was fresh and delicious.
The grounds are plentiful and our dog friendly room had a lovely dog bed, dog treats and doors straight onto the grass.
There are three electric charging points- 2 Tesla and 1 universal. We have an electric car and were able to access the free charger when required.
The dog friendly rooms are a good size and well equipped.
Outside, the terrace area is lovely, staff were very accommodating and the views are breathtaking.
Dinner was delicious, served on the dog friendly piano lounge. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend and would definitely return.
