The Best Western in Texarkana, AR (adjacent to Texarkana, TX) offers an excellent stay for anyone traveling. The area offers a Water Park during the summer season and there is also a Convention Center nearby. The area is growing with lots of potential expansion.

The hotel is clean and awesome. It is starting to show some "aging" in the bathroom where some floor tile is missing UNLESS they are working on it. Check in and check out staff is always nice. I stayed in room 123, the beds were to hard in there for me. Previous room beds were always so comfortable, so next time I'm asking for those rooms. Breakfast is always amazing with such a variety of items.

Going DOWNHILL fast! Don't expect ICE

Have stayed at this hotel multiple, numerous times. This property is going downhill at an accelerated and alarming rate. Ice machines broken since October 13th, 2022, which was our last stay (it's now February 26th, 2023 as I write this review. We had water raining down upon us from the ceiling above from a split seam/hanging sheetrock above our tub while we tried to bathe. This is unacceptable! Our room, which is a suite on the 2nd floor, we have to shove it incredibly hard now to get in the door each time. It's getting worse. The breakfast attendant the third morning of our stay, was actually badmouthing the Mrs. who is a Diamond Select member and had booked the room under her name. She got caught talking negatively about the Mrs. when she walked up behind him, and he didn't know it. His assistant saw the Mrs. and frowned, knowing full well the Mrs. was hearing every word spoken about her! That alone is enough to make sure we don't stay here anymore, but everything else mentioned above is the reason this hotel lost our business after this stay. We were in town to visit the daughter who had just given birth to her first child, the same day as our arrival. So we didn't have time to change hotels, or we would have. The stay was that unpleasant this time!

The only issues I had were when we arrived the toilet seat was broken (room 106).. and the lighting throughout the room was very dim. And John that works at the front desk needs a raise, he’s a good worker!!!
