A stranger entered our room while my family was sleeping

Rooms were nice however somehow a stranger was able to enter our room while we were sleeping Sunday morning and it scared my me kids and the hotel was able to offer half off of that night. My kids are young and it has them scared of a stranger being in their own home right now and I feel they could have done a little more than that for what we had to go through. Also their pool was closed the entire weekend and their free breakfast is good but very few choices.

We have stop by this place just 30min from Galveston place where busy and pricy place. This place made us extra $150 budget for a dinner compared with Hilton brand on beachside. Since it was family trip, upgraded room has suites that has 1Bed room and living room, that was right choice and does not have many room in the floor. It always corner and room was spacious. One missing things is lack of USB port in room even decent modern taste room. I recommend to have USB charger in my bag.

Very Clean and Spacious!

This hotel was very clean, and our room (1 King) and bathroom spacious.! The bed and pillows were very comfortable. It had a full-size fridge, microwave, dishwasher, and the kitchen was stocked with dishes. We chose this hotel, as we had an event in Galveston, but hotel rates there jumped up approximately $100 March 1st, for their spring tourism. Texas City is only 20 minutes from Galveston, so it was worth saving $100. We’d stay here again.

Stayed here for 2 months and never felt out of place. Front desk staff was very accommodating and available. housekeeping was friendly and helpful. They made our stay easy, so much so, we felt like we were at home.

Spotlessly Clean, Super Friendly Staff

We stayed here for 1 night before leaving on a cruise from Galveston. We arrived a little after 2 PM and our room was ready for us. Check in was a breeze. We had the large suite with a separate bedroom, and it was well equipped and spotlessly clean. The kitchen had a good assortment of utensils. The room was very quiet and we slept well. There was a good selection of food available for breakfast. I enjoy having a china plate and glass glass for my meal - so much nicer than using disposables. Checkout was a breeze as well The entire hotel was spotlessly clean. Every staff member we encountered, at check in, check out, breakfast, and even the young man emptying the trash cans in the elevator lobbies, was super friendly and pleasant. We plan on staying here before departing on future cruises from Galveston as the cruise terminals are just 15-20 minutes away.
