This hotel is not a five star hotel, far from it. I stayed here with family the summer of 2021 and the experience was not the greatest. The reception area is nice and seems to have been renovated, the staff in the reception was also welcoming and helpful. But the rooms were not very good for a hotel with 5 stars. The beds in our rooms were rock hard, your whole body will be aching after sleeping in these beds and you're not even able to roll over without feeling every bone in your body. The bathroom condition was overall not nice. Spiderwebs in the corners, ants crawling over the floor, water flooding when taking a shower, toilet seat broken. The room was also lacking when it came to cleaning - also here spiderwebs in the corners of the room, stains on lamps, doorframes, etc. The screendoor to the balcony was also broken and you had to lift it to be able to go out on the balcony. I would recommend going to the beach instead of the pool. The pool needs to be cleaned. The beach was nice and had good tanning chairs. But don't bother using the buttons trying to get a hold of the staff, they don't work.

Currently, we are enjoying our last days at the hotel. We must say that it is very well situated and the beach and sea are amazing. The rooms and hotel territory are well kept and clean. The staff is very hard working and committed, especially all the waiters in the restaurant ( we only remember Arsen and Eliza, apologies in case we mispronounced; sorry for the ones not mentioned, you guys did a great job;))). The same goes for the other employees, including bar workers, receptionists, beach staff etc, good job guys!!! Special shout out to Mr. Panos( guest relations) for being so polite. PS: the only issue is the overcrowding at breakfast.

Good hotel, good holliday

We stayed one week in this hotel, with half board package. We had a Junior suite, which was very large. The hotel is ok, not too many facilities, but clean and the food is ok. The personnel at the restaurant is very kind and the dinner is good quality. Also the beach in front of the hotel is nice. I discovered a very beautiful island. If you rent a car and go to visit the island you can discover the beautiful Marble Beach or the fancy Aruba Beach. I reccomand the hotel.

One of the highlights of this hotel is the super friendly and always ready to assist staff! They are very professional! Also they gave us many tips on places to visit on the island during our stay. Keep it up guys! The room was clean and with wonderful sea view. I rate the breakfast with 5/5 and dinner 4/5. Both offer many options. A few more credits goes to the staff running the bar! Great drinks and great service.

Our first time in Ilio Mare was 2019 and in that year i wolud give 5 stars ,but this year I must say that the hotel looks like it past 5 years from the time we were there. Hotel needs some renovation ASAP if they want to keep the stars that in this moment they dont deserve which is shame because the resort have a lot to give. I must say thank you to the kindest Mr.Thanassis who greets us every morning and evening.He was giving 100% and we are glad that we met him :) Till next time..
