A very successful birthday celebration and afternoon tea at the Thomas Paine Hotel, Thetford.

A great experience, many thanks. We hired the function room for our aunt’s 90th birthday party. There were 26 people plus a couple of wheelchairs and we were all comfortably accommodated. We prebooked the afternoon tea and the selection of sandwiches cakes and deserts was enjoyed by all. Despite it being a busy Sunday afternoon for them, Gez, Rosie and Saanchi were very attentive and we even had a dedicated member of staff on hand for top-ups of food, tea and coffee. Our aunt had a great time and was very pleased with the result. It is obvious that Gez and the team have recently spent a huge amount on the hotel and it's a credit to Thetford to have such a fine facility on our doorstep.

My Fiancé and I hired the Thomas Paine Hotel for our engagement party. The plan was to have an intimate meal with close family in the late afternoon and have our evening guest arrive from 7.30. Gez and the team were super efficient with all of our timings and plans. The food was piping hot and delicious. The staff were absolutely incredible - I don't often say this, so it's a pleasure to offer praise where it is due. The team were on hand for anything we needed and everybody who ate had nothing but good things to say about everything. Our evening guests started to arrive from 7.30, Gez, the hotel manager stood by the door, happily greeting all of our guests and making sure they were party of the party! The space was brilliant. Their new extension is so bright and modern, it made for an excellent area to house the DJ and for us to have a dance. There is no where in Thetford like it, we'll worth a visit! Thank you Gez, Rosie and the highly skilled team at TP!

Mum's surprise 80th Birthday party

The Thomas Paine hotel held a surprise 80th Birthday party for my mum. They could have not been better. The function room was wonderful. The food was out of this world and staff and owners alike were amazing. My mum had the best possible day and everyone that attended said the same. We've all decided we must do it again as a get together on a regular basis. Thank you so much

From our first visit to our wedding day, the support, guidance and professionalism shown by the Thomas Paine and the staff have been second to none. I had expected some sort of hitch on the day, even if only small – but hand on heart, the day went perfectly and the staff made each one of our guests feel so very important. A wedding is a once in a lifetime event (hopefully) and you need a true professionals like Gez and his staff to make it a great success and a day to remember

An amazing wedding venue

Our wedding ceremony and reception was recently held at The Thomas Paine Hotel and wow what an experience! Gez, Rosy and their staff looked after us so well. No request was too much and the setting was beautiful. We were extremely lucky to have the hotel to ourselves, it had such a lovely, warm and friendly atmosphere. The food was beautifully presented and tasted wonderful. I cannot highlight enough how beautiful this setting is and how well we were looked after. Thankyou Gez and team for wonderful memories that we will cherish.
