Really good food!

Two nights spent at this wonderful Inn. The room was warm and comfortable. The atmosphere was welcoming and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The food in the restaurant was very, very good. Really full of flavour and lots of it, with a good selection of different cuisines on the menu. We would certainly stay again.

Disappointing

We went after a recommendation from a friend. Overall disappointing. Starters ok. Mains lacked flavour. Prawn burrito not spicy at all. Burger sandwiched between two slices of GF bread without any salad or relish, just poor especially as ordered in advance. I had the Fishcake which was delicious. Microwaved puddings we’re poor. Christmas pudding was inedible a highly spiced chocolatey version??? We won’t return which is a shame as the pub is very nicely set out and has a lot of promise but didn’t deliver at all.

A great overnight stay

A lovely overnight stay and excellent food in this great country inn near to Thirsk. Everyone we met at the Kings Arms was very helpful and welcoming and we would definitely return. Our room was very comfortable and we had a great nights sleep after enjoying an excellent evening meal in the restaurant. Service matched the great quality of food that we had. Breakfast the following morning was equally as good as our evening meal and was sufficient to keep us full for the rest of the day. This hotel was a great find and we would definitely recommend !

Good value for money Friendly owner and staff Fantastic food. Got exactly what I ordered. Good off road parking. Room was lovely and big and quiet Pillows were a bit too soft for my liking. Close to ripon and wheatherby Highly recommend Thanks

Amazing

Dropped in on the way to the bird of prey centre. Food was amazing. We had 2 sandwiches, one steak and a fish and chip one. Everything looked home made, chips still looked potato shaped, onion rings were obviously home made. The fish and chip sandwich was huge, 3 slices of bread. I had the additional mushy peas and they were also great. Staff were friendly and helpful. Will return if we are ever in the area again.
