Limpeza do hotel deixa um pouco a desejar, apesar de ter um boa estrutura para quem pretende ficar hospedado por alguns dias, o hotel oferece a opção de cafe da manha, wi fi e serviço de quarto. Todos muito bons.
I have stayed at this hotel during several visits and had great experiences. Anytime we have crews of workers in Thunder Bay they always ask to stay at Valhalla Inn (that is a good sign). It is also nice and close to the airport.
Room was great. Unpleasant experience at check in on July 3rd around 11pm. The lady at the desk asked for ID. When I provided by PR card she looked at it and tossed it back to me saying, “Where are you from?” in a way that was unfriendly and rude. I’m from India. My girlfriend who is with me and is Caucasian also noticed that the front desk lady was significantly more nice to her than to me. I even tried engaging in conversation but she wasn’t at all hospitable to me and made it seem like she wanted to end our interaction as quickly as possible. I work for a large consulting firm and I will be sure to let our travel desk know about this experience at your property. Experiences such as the one I had at your front desk make me wonder if Canada is more like the United States in terms of the experience of an immigrant than I had thought.
Wonderful weekend getaway
This is usually the only hotel that we stay. They have known us for quite some time and they are wonderful people to deal with. This is our hotel of choice and no other place that we would like to stay
Terrible customer service
Door doesn't open, it takes 15-20 minutes to try it out to open with a card...not user friendly. Staff discredit your experience about the door that it was working OK. I have 4-5 friends who stayed in this hotel and they all say the same thing - door is horrible. I was frustrated about the experience and just shake my head at the night we stayed (I did not even say anything), staff (who opened the door and discredit my experience) then became defensive and made a scene in the hallway by talking out loud that all other guests in the building could hear. This is not a pleasant experience; staff was very disrespectful. I would definitely tell all my friends and all the people I know not to book in this hotel. I was horrified about the experience. If you don't want to be traumatized, don't book in this hotel.
