The beach is truly one of the best beaches in Nicaragua, is perfect for surfing! Although you might find it a bit pricey with the whole stay is just wonderfull! The staff overall is great and very well trained.

Nothing worse than intentionally being taking advantage of

Avaliou em 8 de março de 2022

We went for dinner on Saturday night. Not a single table to taken. The entire restaurant was empty. We were the only ones. We ordered a bottle of wine with our meal and were offered a $40 upgrade. We said no thank you. Orlando the waiter brought both bottles to the table. Again, we thanked him and were happy with our original choice. We were very clear. Orlando opened the more expensive one. He then charged us. I disputed this and he apologized and agreed it was his mistake and was willing to fix it by reversing my CC and re charging the correct amount. It seemed like a lot of work at the time, so I happily asked for a credit on account for our next visit. Knowing Daniel the manager, this was the easiest option. Apparently not. The next day, Daniel refused to apply the credit for Orlando's mistake. He said that Daniel did not have authority to offer a credit and refused to right the wrong. Now $40 is not a huge deal, but in principle it is. It was intentional. The more expensive bottle was brought out after we declined and opened on purpose hoping we would not notice. We left thinking there was a credit and we made things easier on them and of course the next day were told no. It will not be honored. I hate being taken advantage of. I hate bad business. You will never earn your way to prosperity by taking advantage of the people that support you. Don't go. Don't support this business and its dirty practices. There are so many other great spots and people who are deserving of your money and business.

amazing staff, stunning location

We actually stayed in the Mukul resort hotel apart of here but it was all stunning! We were the first guests after an 8 month Covid-enforced break and we were welcomed with warmth, excellence (and hand sanitiser)! We stayed in Villa Mango which was perfect for the 3 of us. There were a couple of teething problems due to the prolonged closure but they were absolutely no problem all were immediately sorted by the wonderful staff

Review of Tres Cribas Beach Club restaurant at Guacalito

Avaliou em 5 de fevereiro de 2019

This is a review of Tres Ceibas, the restaurant at the Beach Club inside Guacalito. At the time of this review, the restaurant is open for lunch and dinner Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. (The Website says Friday and Sunday, but they are open Saturdays as well. We dined on a Saturday.) We made reservations by email a few hours beforehand. We were staying at Redonda Bay, but Tres Ceibas is open to outside guests. You will need a passport or ID when entering Guacalito. After entering the resort, you will drive down a long road, turning left at the bottom of the hill by the beach. There is a parking lot about 1,000 ft up, on the right side of the road. The restaurant is through the gate by the pool. We opted for a table with a view of the beach. I have severe food allergies to milk and wheat, as well as a severe intolerance to garlic and onion. The staff was fluent in English and had no problem adjusting the ceviche and steak to accommodate my needs. The ceviche we had as an appetizer was our best dish in our 9 days in Central America. My churrasco was superbly tender and flavorful, and my companions greatly enjoyed their fish. We had wine, cocktails and coffee. Dinner entrees were around $20 - $25 each. Our total bill for a lavish dinner for three, with appetizers, 6 drinks and a round of coffee came in at under $200 even after adding 15% government tax, standard 10% gratuity and an additional voluntary tip. This meal would have cost double that in the US. I cannot recommend Tres Ceibas at the Guacalito Beach Club highly enough.
