Lindo hotel castelo!
A great place to stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our 6 days at Chateau Les Vallées.
We couldn’t believe our luck at having found such a beautiful and individually characterful place for our holiday.
Our room was very comfortable. Our hosts were simply delightful and helpful. The whole atmosphere was one of relaxed enjoyment
The standard breakfast was simple and of high quality. We were impressed by the facilities for making ones own meals and how this would be good for families with young children.
The pool was very welcome. The swans and ducks also in their way added character to this delightful setting.
We feel like returning to the region just to go to this lovely chateau again . A gem.
A fantastic place

This a gorgeous old chateau run by a really lovely couple, M et Mdme Le Gall, who are really old school and charming. The Chateau is beautiful and in an idyllic setting.
The chateau is extremely well equipped - including things that are often forgotten such as cushions for the sun loungers. There is an inordinate amount of comfortable and excellent quality garden furniture. The kitchen for guests is a fantastic facility with a couple of fridges, a 2 ring hob, plenty of cutlery etc and 4 x 4 seat tables.
The rooms are all spacious and elegant, even if the decor, especially in the bathrooms, is somewhat dates. There is copious hot water, and the pressure in the showers is superb. Cleanliness is second to none.
The pool is brilliant, with plenty of cushioned loungers; there's a lake with swans and a couple of boats with which you can row to the island(there are proper life-jackets in all sizes if you're paranoid about safety). Breakfast is served in a traditional dining room and consists of fruit juice, yogurt, croissants, toast, tea(Tetley 1-cup, no less!), coffee, hot chocolate.
We loved our time here.........and would recommend it to anyone
We spent 5 brilliant days here and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. There's a big Intermarche about 2 miles up the road and numberous restaurants within 10 - 15 minutes - M Le Gall will give you a list of restaurants with phone numbers along with a map showing where each restaurant is.
Downsides: whilst everything is very very well equipped, everything could also do with replacing: the bedlinen is dated, the huge amounts of garden furniture need updating, the tiles in the bathrooms pre-date the Ark. My wife found it all immensely charming and period whereas I found it a bit disappoitiing. The letting rooms are on the 2nd floor - which is 43 steps up the circular staircase in the lhs turret as you look at the photos.
Lovely old chateau away from it all

A private chateau, am guessing still owned and lived in by the family owners - you can't see it from the main road, access is via a set of gates and a speaker-phone (they give you a pass to get in/out yourself). Grounds are lovely and natural rather than being maintained to a clinical level. Quite quiet when we arrived - probably only one other couple there, but we were only staying one night and passing through. Breakfast is set rather than a buffet - good croissants as you'd expect. No other meals served, but a reasonable amount of places to go within 10km. The owner was lovely, room was good (excellent view). Only downside was the amount of insects that would come in the room/bathroom as soon as the windows were opened .
Disconnect with the world and reconnect with yourself

This is a perfect little heaven in the middle of the beautiful French countryside. A family owned chateaux, in the middle of the small forest, next to a small lake with swans. just go there, shut off your iphones, ipads, disconnect with the world and rest. If you have a day or two in your travels through France, just go there. Definitely going back there! Owners are amazing, a bit lower level of English, but still much better then mine French. Their chateau is just lovely - during entire time you are saying to yourself - oh I wish this was mine, I wouldn't change a thing. :-) We also got a nice room upgrade!
It is a B&B, so basically nothing can be ordered for eating drinking afternoon and evening. Though there are nice restaurants in the villages close to it, and owners are happy to recommend. U can also use the BBQ equipment next to the lake and pool.
