Second stay at the hotel, the first was in september 2020. Amazing location, hotel and staff. Check in was very quick, sahara view room are huge with exceptional view on the oasis and the desertic "CHOTT JERID". The bed and pillows are VERY confortable. the room was fully equiped (better than our own home :) ) with bottle warmer, steriliser, nespresso machine, bath toys for kids, The staff was great especially with our 30 months and 2 months boys. The food was excellent at the restaurant and the pool bar. Breakfast was great. Swimming at the pool was very nice. the KIDS club is open from 9am to 5pm which is very interesting if you have child. the "COVID" protocol is respected. the staff make you fell at home. special thank to NIZAR and ISTABRAK. We will back soon for a third....fourth ....and illimited visit.
Luxury, service and spectacular landscape in a special part of Tunisia

Anantara has a knack of placing amazing, luxury accommodations in special but far away places around the world. Anantara Tozeur is one of those places.
Perched up on an elevated section of the Sahara, close to the historic town of Tozeur, and above a date filled oasis, Anantara's plunge pool villas provide an oasis of its own, and the perfect basecamp to explore the region.
The toughest decision each day is whether to leave the exceptional villa and your own private pool overlooking the Sahara, or explore beautiful and diverse landscape in the surrounding areas.
The service is exceptional and your made to feel special. It doesn't take long for each staff member to know who you are and to feel at home.
Nizar, the friendly, award winning concierge is your ambassador for Anantara, the region, and your stay. Everything is possible with Nizar and the competent staff. Thank you, Nizar, for all you did and your friendship!
We chose to do two, day tours arranged by Nizar and Anantara and were thrilled. The guide and driver were amazing. We journeyed into picturesque mountain canyons, rode across Saharan dunes, visited old Star Wars sets, which exceeded my expectations, picked dates, waded in oasis streams, and enjoyed Tozeur, Nafta and other little villages and towns along the way.
If you're looking to visit a special place, in a special country, in a unique area, this is it.

Amazing place! Especially the SPA was great, maybe need to make the room service more quick. The team of Anantara was very kind and helpful. The food is so delicious and fresh. The rooms have amazing views on the sahara
Extremely Bad Stomach Flu
Avaliou em 24 de Julho de 2021
I caught an extremely bad stomach virus during my stay here. For the past three days prior to contracting the stomach virus I had only been in the hotel, and had eaten every single meal from this hotel. I was so sick to the point I had to call a doctor to the room. The management and staff did not even offer a single apology they blamed it on the “sun”. Even after the doctor had confirmed it was a stomach flu I had contracted from the hotel. I had stayed at this hotel a year ago and had the best experience. It saddens me I had to delete my old review to update it to explain this situation. Just a small apology and some responsibility taken would of suffice. It is so unfortunate I was treated like this by a five star chain such a Anantara. I thought they really new what hospitality was all about. After this experience I would really warn potential guests to watch out.
