O hotel é pequeno e super charmoso. O quarto que ficamos era super novo, amplo e confortável. Achei um pouco ruim o fato do hotel não ter estacionamento próprio (tivemos que descarregar as malas e ir para um estacionamento público próximo). A noite jantamos no hotel e achamos os preços caros.

ficamos nesse hotel por pensarmos ser o melhor da cidade, era o mais caro. o preço acertado por e-mail não foi respeitado e foi cobrado praticamente o dobro do estabelecido por emails. O hotel não possui elevadores, o ar condicionado dos quartos funciona precariamente, o banheiro ou tem chuveiro ou banheira. Não tem frigobar. a noite fica fechado, e tem que tocar a campainha para alguém abrir a porta.

Beautiful, but not

Beautiful building - lovely room (and upgraded to suite) great bed… no shower. Avoid eating here if can - possibly the worst meal we have eaten in France… inedible, bland, and €30 euros for truly terrible pasta - shamefully likened to pasta from the Cipriani - breakfast €31 very over priced. Parking - we paid for on site parking - at no point did anyone inform us there only 3 parking spaces & it you have a long car you may not fit in… we also had bikes on the back of ours… so 3 huge cars in a tiny space - we had to take our bikes off (that’s never happened at any hotel we have parked at before!) Huge hassle, they did assist us however. So, lovely room, dreadful food, and huge hassle just to park a car. For which I received a glass of champagne (for the parking situation) they tried to charge me for that on check out! No apologies, no gesture regarding food - total cost €600 for one night. And if 5 star makes you think there will be someone knocking around reception, forget that… the staff turned out the reception lights and pushed off (11 pm ish) - after they had kicked us out of the restaurant (we had met a very jolly couple at dinner, which was as a highlight) as they had to set it for breakfast… but breakfast was in fact, in another room! Although some of the staff sweet & helpful - the staff further up the ladder need retraining in hospitality & client management.

Poor and expensive

The hotel is beautiful and situated in a very quiet but convenient part of Troyes. The grounds are lovely and our room was charming and well presented. The bed was extremely comfortable. Dinner was awful so much so that my husband could not eat his. The service was very slow, we had to chase to be given menus, waited ages between the two courses and then after the main course were told it was a 20 minute wait for dessert!!! We complained and the hotel gave us a 50% reduction. We have never eaten such a poor meal in France. Breakfast the next morning was good but cost a staggering euro 31.00 per person. We were a group of two couples so our breakfast bill came to euro 124.00 for breads, croissant, OJ, coffee, yoghurt, fruit and one small omelette and one scrambled egg we thought was outrageous.

Bad bathroom, overpriced

Great location, authentic building but overpriced for what you get. Shower only had bathtub and no place to put the showerhead (no fixture) so you have to hold it in your hand all the time. Furthermore, the bathtub has no glass showerwall so the bathroom gets very wet while showering. Not the bathroom you would expect. Breakfast also expensive for what you get. Electric destination charging is supposed to be free, but can only be done inside the property for which they charge € 39 per night.
