Nice comfortable stay. Good coffee and breakfast. Easy parking.

Very nice stay and comfortable beds/ Had everything we needed in the room. Breakfast had good choices. I would suggest adding boiled eggs. Coffee was delicious. Parking was easy. Room was clean. This seems to be a hotel that is a bit older but nothing was wrong and the price was good.

The Front Desk staff was always friendly and helpful but I would like to especially thank Dena for going the extra mile. We had a lot of family there for a funeral. Dena made sure we had everything we needed even though she was also helping a large group at the same time. She made us feel welcomed. We also enjoyed being able to have the whole family meet up in the Baxter's bar area the night before the funeral. The bar area was a great place for our family to re unite with everyone after many years. All in all it was a great stay!

Very clean and has been renovated in the last 2 years. Modern look. Room equipped with a Keurig coffee maker. Beds very comfortable with fluffy comforters. Bathroom large. Breakfast area exceptional. Oatmeal, cereal, pancake maker, eggs, omelets, sausage. Coffee, 3 types of juice, yogurt, pastries, toast. Best variation on breakfast. Lots of nice seating in a large open area. Nice friendly staff. Great place to stay. On Grants Road Tucson

My husband and I stayed two nights in a room offering a king-sized bed and suite. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable, and we had no problem parking near the entrance throughout our stay. The complimentary breakfast each morning was absolutely wonderful in every way. The dining area was kept neat and clean by two caring and dedicated women, and the food was delicious and served at just the right temperatures. Our one “problem” probably was actually perhaps a boon for our security-we had to get our room card key re-authorized before our second night’s stay. This had occurred at previous Holiday Inn Express hotels on our vacation, so we figured it had to be a security/check in procedure the hotel has in place. We would happily stay at a Holiday Inn Express on a vacation in our future. Tucson’s HIE is just a fabulous gold nugget tucked away from the hustle and bustle. Thank you for a warm welcome on a long trip.

Scared for our life

We stayed here a couple nights ago. The area was sketchy, but I never let that stop me from staying in a hotel because you’re usually safe after you get inside. However, we had someone force themselves into our room the next morning, thankfully the extra lock on the door stopped them. There was no warning sound like they had damaged the key lock, so it seems like they had a key to get into our room. It definitely wasn’t housekeeping because they came by later in the morning and knocked and stated who they were. I’m not sure what would have happened if we hadn’t locked the extra lock, but I am SURE it would have ended with us on a dateline episode. I have never felt so unsafe in all of my traveling. I wouldn’t recommend staying here to anyone, but especially women traveling alone.
