Booking process is dodgy

I booked Yarama Cottages on 6 Jul for a stay in September via Airbnb. Someone who identified by Ayu was very quick to ask me if I need airport pickup on 7 Jul with the usual greetings etc. Seeing the reviews here and multiple postings seemingly all over the place on Airbnb, I then ask them if I will be getting the same room as pictured on Airbnb or something else. I checked in again on 9, then 19. Radio silence. Unfortunately, I've passed the 48 hours of booking, so I may need to forfeit 50% of the cost should I cancel now. Am checking with Airbnb on the process. It's just too dodgy a process for me to feel comfortable continuing my reservations with them. Will update again if they do reply.

Small cozy place But when you book Make sure it’s the room you want Most photos in internet shows the new cottages The cheapest room is the standard old fashion room Most of the photos shows the cottages Close to Pison and ubud Center Quiet The cheaper room a bit under maintained And water pressure is very low Next to yoga place Ubud is very quiet 150,000 rupiah for standard room at the moment, April First photo is standard room Last photo is the premium cottages Some have kitchen The second photo, behind the pink building is yoga center, convenient location

Roomy bedroom, spacious bathroom and equipped kitchen with beautiful minimalist architecture. This place is perfect for mini healing gateaway, especially for long stay. With considerably strategic location, near the infamous yoga barn and the iconic ubud monkey forest. The accommodation also adjacent with eye catching cafe and restaurant. Definitely exceed our expectation !

At first, I chose to stay at Yarama because it’s next door to the Yoga Barn. I was traveling alone to Ubud to take a 10 day training which was from 9 am to 7 pm, so staying next door for me is the perfect choice. When I arrived I was surprised to see the building, which is minimalist and nice... since everytime I went to Ubud I only noticed the half-done construction in front of Yarama. My room was also very nice: clean, spacious and have good lighting. The bathroom is also very big and nice. The staffs were also warm and helpful. I would definitely stay here again when I go back to Ubud.

I stayed at Yarama two two separate times. The staff are SO lovely and helpful. The place is a bit old but they keep it clean. Good location, right next to Yoga Barn and 5min walk to Monkey Forrest. Walkable distance to Art Market ~20mins, just bring lots of water and/or take breaks at the many cafes along the way! Supermarket is about 2 mins away.
