BAssically an old hotel with little going for it

I found this 1930's hotel to be old with a super small bathroom. No neat bathroom products and not enough towels. it was surprising that no one came in to make the beds or change linens. We were here with a wedding party and did not utilize the coffee shop or bar on roof. The neighborhood left a lot to be desired as well. I wish I had some knowledge of Seattle before booking here. Much better areas with similar price tags. If only I had known! Parking more expensive than Los Angeles three months ago.
Hip hotel with great rooftop bar. Noisy rooms with thin walls.

The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the decor was lovely. They pay great attention to making the hotel look nice. However, I heard everything in my neighboring rooms so if you're a light sleeper, this hotel is not for you. I didn't have the pleasure of trying their restaurants but they were packed so they must be great!
The Graduate Hotel Seattle was like staying at a Frat House!

We were looking forward to staying at this hotel. We had stayed at The Graduate in Ann Arbor, Michigan and it was wonderful. This location was the farthest thing from wonderful. We checked in at 10 PM and were shocked to find a long line to check in and an even longer line of college age kids waiting to go up to the rooftop bar. There was a girl working the waiting line to go up to the roof top bar as they limit the number of people who can be there at any given time. We asked her what's the rooftop like and she replied, "Oh you don't want to go up there tonight, it's a S**t Show!! The lobby had the atmosphere of a frat house party! There was only one employee working the front desk so it took quite a while to get checked in. We got to our room and we're not happy with it at all. It smelled musty, looked really outdated and was rather warm. The TV would not turn on either. The same guy working the front desk came up to fix the Tv and he got it working. This guy was a good employee and was trying his best. He was just woefully understaffed. We could never get the AC to work properly and I can't sleep when I'm too warm. We stayed 3 nights here and it didn't get much better after the first night. On the 2nd night we decided to try the rooftop bar for a drink. It's actually an amazing place but it's too bad that the hotel has decided to turn it into a dance club for college age kids. A DJ was blasting hip hop music and the place was jumping. Not a good hangout for a couple of middle age folks looking for a nice place to have a drink. We did have one drink and we paid the price. $18 per drink plus a mandatory 20% tip. I think they could have a lovely roof top high end restaurant up there and make as much if not more revenue. And that would keep the place classy. All in all we were happy to check out and never have to stay there again.
Not worth the price. Old, loud and rather dirty

Rooms we old (“historic”) but hair on rugs and in the bathroom. Parking was a mess. It was loud- thin walls Rooftop bar sounded exciting but it was packed with 22 year olds (we were there on a Thursday) and it was LOUD. Location was good. Beds were comfortable.
Two thumbs up!

Everything was excellent including every employee we encountered. Overnight Valet price of $42 per day seemed high. No fridges. Would recommend and stay again. Super comfy beds and all was clean. Good price.
