O hotel é bem longe das atrações da cidade, mas o translado para o metrô compensa essa distancia. Os quartos são bons e amplos com camas confortáveis. Banheiro limpo e grande. O café da manhã deixa a desejar, como todo hotel express americano.

Hotel Under Renovation

The IHG app didn’t mention this hotel was being renovated. We had power tools in use just above us until we complained at 7 p.m., and then starting up before 8 a.m. Phone in the room did not work and blinked repeatedly until unplugged. Went to make coffee in the room and realized we were stocked with only decaf and green tea. Downstairs in the breakfast area, coffee pot was empty and the attendant was not present. No fruit of any kind, no biscuits for breakfast. A rough start to our morning. Common areas had worn, shabby furnishings and dirty carpets. Truly, entire stay was below average for HIE.

Classic Holiday Express - Very Good Management

This is a classic Holiday Inn Express. The difference for this one is the management. There was confusion on my reservation (all my fault), and the manager was wonderful about working it out for me. Greatly appreciated and worthy of special recognition! (FYI, close to Metro, easy access to DC, with free parking, and much less expensive than DC itself)

I reserved the holiday inn express for a family trip. We had 2 rooms for 2 nights. We chose based on the pool for the kids and the hot tub for the adults to relax after walking around DC. The hot tub was not working, no heat and no jets! Water in pool and hot tub was so murky that you couldn't even see your feet or legs. The carpets throughout the hotel were completely filthy, we wore shoes the entire time. The furniture cushions in the front lobby were flaking all over the floor. We also had the window sill fill with the rain and fall down.

Clean room and warm service. Everyone at the hotel is very polite and kind. The room is clean and no issues at all. The ice machine seems out of order but no biggie. The breakfast offers variety of choices and the staff keep replenishing through out the time. Can't ask for the better.
