İlk kez Kapadokya ya geldik ve bayıldıkk. Roca Cappadocia otelin konumu çalışanların ilgisi çok güzeldi. İyi ki gelmişiz umarım bir daha görüşürüz. It's a great place, close to most places, the employees are very friendly and sincere. Staying in the cave provides an interesting experience. I recommend those who go to Nevşehir / Ürgüp to stay.

A terrible experience I would not like again!

We had a terrible disgusting experience. Came there on the 22nd of Sept at 2.30pm (normal check in is 2pm) our room was not ready - looking forward to a nice shower after 7 hours of traveling. The lady at reception started recommending activities to us while we sat waiting for our room. She was very adamant that we had to take part in these activities to truly experience Cappadocia. When we mentioned we already booked a hot air ballon experience she was not interested in assisting with our pick up arrangement because it was not booked through them. Without any official brochures of pamphlet she insisted that we book multiple tours and activities with them, luckily we made no official arrangements except for an terrible ATV experience. We later found out that all the trips and activities recommended was about 10 to 20 USD more than what the going rate was at the rest of Cappadocia. Eventually could check in at 3.30pm to a damp roof, with mold, and a wet bathroom floor. The bathroom including our bed and sheets was still dirty, so I had to ask the staff to clean the room again. The cave rooms has no ventilation and the ventilator fans are mere decorations and also full of dust and dirt. Quite disgusting actually. We did the proposed ATV sunset experience for 40 USD per person costing 80 USD. When we got there, at someone’s garage, these guys’ equipment were probably from the first in Cappadocia and all the bikes were in a terrible conditions without proper brakes, gears etc. and did not even have enough power to climb a small hill. We saw the possibility of rain, but the ATV guys assured us it was not problem they have jackets. Also the helmets were so dirty and the glasses scratched. You’d think after Covid things like hygiene would a priority for anyone in the tourism industry. We we’re cold and wet and my wife’s hands were so sore from trying to ride her bike. We own our own ATV, we’ve been driving since we were little. This was not up to standard. Crap equipment for that price. Subsequently at our new hotel Milat Cave Hotel we found out that a 2 hour ATV ride for both of us together at a proper place with proper equipment would cost our pocket for both 30 USD. So I do not recommend performing any overpriced activities at the place. Red & Green tours at proper companies cost 45 USD per person and not 65 USD as proposed by the lady at Roca. The wifi only works at the reception & no wifi in your room. I understand the thick walls, but at our other Hotel it worked perfectly fine through the walls. We checked out the next morning and booked another hotel which was excellent the next day as their unprofessionalism with arranging a horrific overpriced tour and unclean dirty hotel left a very very bad taste. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Beautiful cave hotel in the centre of GoremeCand amazing hospitality by the staff. Highly recommend to the people travelling to Cappadocia. Rooms were clean and well maintained. Friendly and welcoming staff make sure to take care of all the needs of the guests.

We had only the best experience with the hotel owner Mr. Mustafa. He was very helpful before and while our stay in Cappadocia. Also other hotel workers were very nice and pleasant. The hotel is very butiq, with only few rooms. The experience of staying in a cave room is a must while visiting Cappadocia.
