Best sleep I've had in Peru

I love this place, it's relaxed and homely. Juan Carlos and Judith made my friend and I feel very welcome, with hot cups of tea on arrival, a warm fire, delicious dinner and a huge collection of DVDs. The family took us out to a local fiesta with fireworks and loads of dancing and took really great care of us. Showers are hot, beds are comfortable and it's really clean. This place gives you a glimpse into local agriculture and life. It's a little bit out of town, but easy to get into urubamba by walking or Moto. It's super quiet and fabulous for excellent sleeps. The best place I've stayed in peru so far.
The Campsite is a surprise, and unforgettable.

We stayed there in April, 2014, it is one of our best moment during our 1 1/2 months, 5 countries trip in S.America. First, we were surprise to see Juan Carlos, waiting when we got off the motor taxi, and even more when he led us through small path to the Campsite, especially, we met his grandmother on the way. This is the path to Peruvian's family campsite. Actually, it's more like a homestay than campsite. There, we met Judith, Juan Carlos's wife, mama, papa, Judith's brother, Carmen, who gave us such a warm welcome. ...As it was the full moon night, Papa Lucas Checa Perez came to the house, and led us to pay homage to Mother Earth, the Moon and Natures, and pray to God to bless us & the family for good heath, luck and protection. He did it in an Indian &Peruvian traditions. This is unique, he told us the meaning of the ceremony, their believes and way of lives.
---- We never think that we would have a chance to know Indian/Peruvian better more than only from books. Also, when we walked around the village, we met many villagers who always smiled and said hello to us. ------ They are so friendly, especially the family. If we had time, we would like to follow Papa to his fields up to the mountain, and learn everything more from him. Mama was so delight when we asked her about coca leaves. ------_This is not a hostel, that you only stay in you room or meet other travelers, but this is the friend, the family. You can walk around the village, at nights, you can sit, chatting with the family, exchanging your ideas, believes ,etc. or you can sit quietly, sipping hot coca tea, while watching at the moon, or listening to the sound of natures. You know you are safe there, among you new friends and family.
