My daughters took a trip for a soccer tournament over a weekend. This was the first time they were on a trip like this without a parent. My oldest is a senior in college, so she is used to being on her own, but is not used to being responsible for her sister! I called the hotel and spoke to Jayne, who quickly put my mind at ease. She reassured me that the hotel is located in a safe area with many options for eating/food. The girls told me the check in process was incredibly smooth and they felt very safe while they were there. Jayne gave me a direct number to contact her if I had any questions or the girls needed anything. Overall, my mind was put at ease, which was huge for me!

I was booked here for two nights, but the weather prevented me from arriving until my 2nd date. I called the evening of my expected arrival & spoke to Rob Gosizk. He couldn’t have been nicer or more accommodating. Rob checked me in & ensured I could pick up my key when I arrived the following morning. Everything flowed like clockwork. The check-in staff was gracious & I loved the welcome bag with snacks & water…very nice touch! My room was welcoming & comfortable after a 6-hour drive. My only issue is the shower drains slow (rm 337), but the water pressure was spot-on! My skin also appreciated the Dove bath products!!

Not the best Holiday Inn Express I have stayed in. Room needed updating and was small. Bathroom door wouldn’t close. Not sure if all rooms are adjoining rooms but we could hear everything happening in the room next to us!! Breakfast was not the best. We only stayed one night for a dance competition but I have stayed at other hotels in the area previously and would choose other hotel next time.

An Unexpected Stay

On an unplanned trip, I found myself getting very tired of driving from Baltimore to Toms River, New Jersey, and needed a place to stay in the middle of the night. It was around 3 in the morning, and I had issues finding a hotel room in the area with availability. Luckily, this Holiday Inn Express had not only space available but an excellent receptionist to check me in. Rob was n0t only helpful, but he was kind and courteous from start to end. From our phone conversation to greeting me by name upon arrival, he made an effort to make sure that I was more than welcomed. Thank you for the excellent customer service and the excellent room rates! Room 410 Feedback - The exhaust fan in the bathroom was extremely dusty and the deadbolt on my door did not function.

Great hotel, great value

We stayed one night here in December. Needed a hotel in the area that wasn’t too expensive and allowed pets. I came across this property and saw that the rates varied on different platforms. Upon contacting the property, Ashley was able to reduce the price to make it more competitive with other sites. The pet fee was also only $25 which was much more reasonable than Marriott properties in the area. The room was comfortable, clean and quiet. The hot breakfast was amazing with healthy options like white egg omelets and turkey sausage. They had great hot coffee and many other options. I was even able to get in a cardio workout in the fitness room which had good equipment. Overall outstanding property at a great rate. Would definitely stay here again!
