No room when arrived overbooked and had a confirmed room

Room was booked 4 days before arrival thru priceline. When I went to check-in they said I didn't have a room I had a confirmation number and room was already paid for .they then said that they overbooked. I then asked for a upgraded room for the same money next door and they said they couldn't do it.because I used a third party but one of the clerk said someone else was already in 211 the room I was suppose to have . Then set and watched 2 other people try to check in and they sent them to Marriott next door for same money. Couldn't find a room within 30 miles this night what a terrible experience but they did offer to cancel my reservation for no fee on a no refund cancelation. They didn't even offer to try and find me a room. What a piss pour way of doing business I rate them at a 0 out of 10

Great staff at Delta Hotel

I travel to Indy about every 2-3 weeks for 4-8 days and the last 4 times have stayed at the Delta Hotel by Marriott. The staff is great, the rooms clean, and breakfast is tasty. The large fireplace is a nice addition to sit by after work on chilly evening.

Science Olympiad Trip at Delta Hotel Marriott

I heard that this hotel was pretty sketchy by some people on our team for Science Olympiad, we took a trip up to Indianapolis for a competition. The Lobby was very nice and the front desk workers helped us right out and gave us the room key for our room. Our friend's family got their room key and headed to their room. The hallways were very long walk to the room and the hallways were like glass walls like in a Horror Movie. The doors had dents in them too. Our friend's dad had to try 3 room keys and after that didn't work they got a hotel employee to open the room for them. Once we got to our room the room looked nice with two Queen size beds and a large TV. Our room was nice with no problems at all. Not much breakfast options to choose from but a variety of Kellogg Cereal to Eggs and Smoked Sausage. Coffee and Craft Juices as well. The area of the hotel was not very nice and the hotel it self just looks rundown from the looks.

TERRIBLE ROOMS

We looked online for a hotel, then we found this hotel and online it looked really fancy and nice. We got here, the rooms were only about 18ft wide. The tv didn’t work, even tried the “online access” with my phone to try fixing the tv and still nothing. The bathroom looks nice online but as soon as you get here, there is hair everywhere and the water pressure for the shower was barely on. Then, my group looked for a fridge in the room to store drinks and the fridge was in the corner of the room just plugged in. TERRIBLE HOTEL. DO NOT EVER STAY HERE!!! Will never come or recommend to anyone!!!

I recently stayed at the Marriott Indianapolis East for a soccer tournament. From check-in to check-out, Jeff Bobbitt at the front desk was amazing. His laugh is contagious and his willingness to help was extraordinary. The hotel was very busy and he took the time to treat each customer like they were the only one there. I would definitely recommend the Marriott Indianapolis based on Jeff alone!
