Better than the average hotel

Nicely maintained. Water pressure out of tub spout was minimal but there was okay shower spray but no pressure behind it to remove shampoo so it took 3x as long as normal ( no water savings). Liked the built-in night light in the hairdryer- fantastic idea! They initially had placed us in a room near the elevator (we had requested a room away from it) but the lady at the desk was able to move us and gave us a suite in order to get us a room away from the elevator. One draw back to this place it the nearness to a busy road, on a downhill with lots of trucks engine breaking. Not too bad at night but early morning it was loud. Maybe a room away from the road would be quieter. Breakfast was similar to others but they had real utensils. Overall the hotel seemed better maintained and kept up than many we’ve stayed in recently.

Stop on a road trip

My husband and I were on a road trip. We stayed at the Watford Hotel due to it's proximity to the North Unit of Theodore Roosevelt National Park, which is about 30 minutes from the hotel. Our room was a two room suite. The space was a good size, although the bathroom was a bit tight. No pool. Nice lobby area and outdoor seating with grills. The water pressure could be better.

This is a really nice hotel, near the visitor's center. Nice room, bed was very good, staff were nice. Very reasonable price. Free tea/coffee/cocoa available all day, free cookies in the afternoon (yum!). Worth staying here!

Room was nice, clean, bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good with alot of options. All the staff was friendly and gave dining options, information about the area and etc. Had guest laundry and for a good price.

Unfortunately I did not get the lady's name who worked the evening of 7 / 10 /21 from the moment I walked in the hotel she showed me kindness and and the utmost hospitality the likes I have never seen I don't know what you pay her an hour but it is definitely not enough. I come to Watford City on business from time to time and I've never stayed at this hotel because of her this is the only place I will stay now
