As seen in the pictures, I don’t know if it is a new way of making de bed or two people placed their butts on both sides of it. The pillow cases, albeit they don’t smell of human, they smell of nothing, not the smell of cleanness, as if they had been washed without detergent –if they were washed at all. The wifi is awfully slow. In this page reads $38, but I had to pay $50 + taxes = $56,50.
Not worth it
Front desk staff was friendly. Unfortunately, I’m assuming because we had a dog with us we were put in a room in the furthest building and around the back. Did not feel safe. Room was big, but had faint smell of cig smoke. We could see they tried with painting and placing laminate down without taking out what was underneath or leveling the floor. The tub had patches in it and we cleaned it before using. Bathroom floor hadn’t been mopped due to the dirty bootprint in the middle of it. The bedspread had multiple cigarette burn holes and the pillows were so thin and unusable. We thought we might be able to stick it out for the week and bought new linens to put over it but ended up leaving early. I’m sure there were nicer rooms but maybe just not available for those with a pet?
Never will I ever stay at any Econo Lodge anywhere ever again ! I travel a lot with my job and have never had a room with bed bugs. I guess that's a good thing up until now. I didn't realize the room had bugs until about four days later at my home, took them a few days to bite also. This was my only stop from Wyoming to Texas on the way home. I checked the bed but not the entire bed. Obviously the bugs got in my bag and clothes which I transported to my home. Thank god I caught it quickly, discovering bed bugs in my bed. This cost me well over $200 to treat my home, vehicle and clothing. Also room had no coffee pot and water was cold for my morning shower. Room #334 in the back.
Angela on front desk was welcoming and friendly. Room was actually quite nice, clean, bedding was nice, wi-fi excellent. There was no bedside clock or coffee maker, there was a 'fridge & microwave; there was wires for a smoke detector, but no detector! Breakfast was very light. So it lacked in some areas, yet it was a very pleasant stay. You can walk down the side of the hotel to Lucy Park Falls - not a long walk, so if there for just a passing through, you can see the falls, rather than driving to the entrance of the park, unless you want to walk the whole trail. Definitely would stay again, even with its shortcomings.
Just One Night
I would of done a 4 star until I realized the gas was taken from my truck. Hosts are very nice. Room was clean, and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast waffle good. Although NO blow dryer for your hair. For the cheap price of $50 That I paid for my room my main concern was clean and comfy bed. BUT I ended up costing us $100,for the full tank of gas taken from my truck. Learning experience for me is to pay more for a better location.
