Bad area with bad clientele.
Scary Place indeed. Rooms are about 2.5 to 3. Lobby, hallways etc. smell of heavy smoke!! You have to sign a waiver for $500. Against any smoke or damage to the room. Warnings & deposits for everything. Will stay in the room daylight to daylight.
Great price for the stay
I was in Wichita this week for work and I stayed at 316 The price was great but the staff was even better! Lots of food within walking distance! Short distance to some very nice parks for relaxing after work. Conveniently located near lots of businesses for work or family travel!
Very convenient
Rooms feel like home and have a comfortable vibe to them. Reading reviews online I was skeptical as to whether or not this would be the best place to stay due to the are but we are very happy with our decision to stay here. If this hotel was in a different area of town it would be 10times better. The receptionist Edwin got us checked in very promptly and was very friendly and helpful. The night receptionist Margaret was very helpful in getting us soap and towels when we needed them and the morning receptionist Tayla was helpful in extending our stay. I will recommend this place to others. Very exceptional service and very attentive staff.
Gem in the rough
I came here due to a family member being in an accident we were life watched over to Wesley Hospital where we will stay for months. We were greeted by Tayla when we checked in she provided us with a gift and a sincere letter letting us know they are willing to help with anything to alleviate stress! Edwin and Cesear were prompt to get us towels and were also very attentive to our needs. We will be staying here anytime we are in the area. Thank you guys for all you did for our family during this time! I can truly say that the staff here go above and beyond for anyone and everyone that walks through those doors. The only thing I wish I could change was the location of this hotel. The homeless population is very large and intimidating in the area. Edwin and Cesear made sure to ask anyone that was begging for cigarettes or money to leave. They made myself and my sons feel very safe and protected during our stay.
The Best
316 hotels and absolutely the best hotel to stay in a while because of my job i been doing the hotel thing for about four months now and they are one of the best that I stay in. I highly recommend them to everyone in and Wichita or if you are visiting.
