Questionable lodging, 2 female front desk staffers caught in lies
The inn looks like a dive. The parking lot had people camped out by their cars and trucks. Few amenities. Asked two female front desk attendants questions, was spoken down to and lied to. Some of the long term residents appear they were just released from the legal system. Run far away from this place, where you can find trustworthy staff, higher class clientele and accomodations worthy of a human.

Where to start? I found a good / cheap deal online and decided to stay here. I’d stayed in this hotel over 15 years ago. First of all, the staff is great and friendly. The front desk lady (Amanda?) was great and very helpful. That’s about the best part of the stay... There are apparently a lot of long term guests. And several were up late pounding on each others’ doors and screaming and arguing. I was waiting for a gunshot. The bed was comfortable. However, it only had a top sheet and bed spread. No blanket... and who knows how often the bed spreads get changed... It would have been nice to have more than 2 pillows too. They brag about the “over 200” channels but it seemed as if every non infomercial channel wouldn’t start. I wore my white socks while in the room. They were filthy and black on the bottom. They need to clean the floors more often. No safety lock on the inside of the door. Only the lockable doorknob and a deadbolt lock. No way to prevent someone with the master key from entering. No “do not disturb” door hanger. No phone or radio in the room. The HVAC worked well and kept the room comfortable. In my “upgraded suite / room” there was no comfortable chair. If you wanted to sit, you have the bed or a supinely straight back chair. Both the pool and hot tub are empty and from the look, will never again be filled. The restaurant that 15 up years ago served up a great buffet breakfast is long closed and sits empty now. If you’re hungry, there’s a 5 guys in the parking lot. Else, there’s a gas station across the street with a dunkin donut. A bunch of fast food stores just a little way down the road. There are a couple of pot holes in the parking lot that’ll swallow up a smart car so be mindful. If you’re a mom traveling with kids I’d think elsewhere. If you’re a guy traveling and just looking for a place to crash, then this place might be for you.
