A nice place to stay, especially if you're interested in the city's history.

Very nice place in the heart of downtown, yet easy to enter/exit the highway. Very nicely renovated and lovely place to stay, although we had noisy neighbors upstairs some of the time. Our bed was comfy, but the foldout couch wasn't very comfortable for our 16 yr old son. I was disappointed with the carb-heavy complimentary breakfast; there was very little for our son, who follows a gluten- and dairy-free diet, to eat. We had a lovely, quiet breakfast at the Shaffner Inn, just up the street from the Brookstown and an easy walk. If you're new to W-S, the Brookstown is literally next door to the city's welcome center.

Beautiful property if you like history and old charm. Front desk staff were very nice and accommodating. Check out the wine and cheese and cookies and milk. Complementary breakfast was also good selections.

Historically Beautiful

Great place to land for business or pleasure. Historic vibes of large wooden beams, exposed pipes, bricks, etc. Beautiful places to work/write in your room and throughout the facility. Cozy, cozy, cozy! Don’t miss wine/cheese at 5 or milk/cookies at 8. Breakfast options aplenty.

The staff has exceptional customer service from the front desk to hospitality! The wine and cheese from 5 - 7 were great to "wind down" for the day and the cookies and milk from 8 - 9 were so tasty for an evening treat or bedtime snack. My room was LARGE with two levels - queen size bed, a large sofa, a side chair, and a faux fireplace with a space heater to imitate the real deal. The space heater did heat up the room because it was quite chilly. The only complaint I have is that my microwave did not work and it was pretty cold in the rooms but the staff was more than willing to accommodate my needs. The floors creek a lot when people are walking or just settling for the evening. Those little inconveniences will be there with the age of this building but it also speaks to its history...thus the story of Sally the Ghost. I was not afraid of that after reading about her story on my first night there.

Business Trip

This little hotel is wonderful for many reasons. First, needed a different room for the trip that I was on due to the fact that our organization usually has a social networking time in whatever suite I get put into. The first room was not suitable for this and I went to the front desk and asked for another room more suitable. Even though they were full capacity they still were able to make it work and get me a room that was perfect. Kudos to those gentlemen for that! Second, this hotel has a great location to most all of the downtown restaurants and bars. Lyft/Uber rides are plentiful and less expensive than some places we attend. Lastly, the hotel itself has a fantastic vibe! The old antique feeling of all of the rooms is a wonderful feeling.
