Very good value for money, nice and clean, very helpful staff, food onsite if you like a curry they have their own little take on it and the food was excellent and good value, rooms have all you need a ours was very clean, bar has all you need and a nice little outside area if you get the weather

First the good news : good breakfast. Fast internet Everything else: Tiny tiny room - room 9 - unable to open either the bathroom or wardrobe doors fully - the bed got in the way. New carpets laid but doors not eased - needed muscle to open Bathroom : Shower and washbasin built with children in mind - not suitable for large size individuals Paper thin curtains - the bedroom in full daylight at 05.00 Noisy - other rooms echoing around and busy local traffic were overwhelming Car park - not big enough or marked out so first come first served and very hazard parking from other residents Bar - still under construction so not fully functional - fortunately many nice bars and restaurants a short distance away. Premium price but economy facilities

Great little pit stop warm and friendly welcome, clean and tidy rooms, 2 pillows each my type of bonus, comfortable bed great breakfast. There are some reviews for this hotel that are a little harsh I felt it was worth the money we used this as an overnight stay as we were visiting Oxford the next day yes it has minor issues like decor but it was suitable for our needs if you are looking to stay in a hotel and are looking yo use facilities don't book but as an overnight pit stop it's well worth the money

Food absolutely delicious, reasonable prices and portions would highly recommend. The decor is a bit tired and the toilets need updating but the food was amazing. I hope in new hands it becomes livelier and updated

Under new management! I've been staying here off and on for a few years. Not the best hotel but as an ex military man I liked to support the gurkha family that ran the hotel even though some standards were borderline. The food was good and the welcome always very warm. New owners... Absolutely no idea and for sure no experience in the hospitality industry. Nepalese again... But not a chance this will succeed. Now no bar and resteraunt as that was the only positive here. Avoid at all cost.. I'll never stay here again!
