REFRESHING change

This hotel is such a refreshing experience! Front desk staff was friendly and addressed any concerns quickly. The room was clean and comfortable. Nice stop along I-77 going north from FL. Reasonably priced . Breakfast and coffee in the AM. .

Excellent experience for price

Very comfortable hotel, breakfast was full of choices (bacon!) and delicious. Beds were comfy. The rooms were large. The pool was an adequate size for my young kids to get their energy out though it was chilly. We had a great experience and we would stay there again.

Safe clean perfect overnight place

Perfect place to stay between Pittsburgh & Conway SC. Friendly staff, clean. Bathrooms could use updated. And they allow dogs for minimal charge. Perfect overnight stay. Right off highway. Breakfast ok. Does have pool & places to eat nearby.

Filthy and Run Down

Guests are charged $20/pet per night. That is fine if the extra money goes toward cleaning rooms after pets. My pets are not allowed on the furniture due to their back issues. I carry their dog beds when traveling. Put upon entering the room I immediately could not sit on the sofa because of the dog hair. The drapes were dirty and the carpet was totally gross. This seems to be a trend with Comfort Inns but when traveling with pets, the choice of hotels is limited. I wish to goodness that the extra money that is paid for pets would be put to a better cleaning of rooms. For this hotel it is too late. The neglect in cleaning and non professional repairs to the rooms has gone on too long. The whole place needs to be totally gutted and remodeled.

It was meh

Just got in. There are no light-excluding drapes, just sheers. There is a pretense at real drapes, in a skinny strip hanging down *beside* the window. Checked and my phone compass shows window faces SE. As my sleep mask generally falls off during the night, looking forward to being blasted by bright early sunshine in the morning. The person checking me in was friendly and quick. I had called ahead to the property and spoke with George, who was very good humored and efficient. Didn’t think to ask him about drapes!! (I’ve been burned before and now try to call the actual hotel desk rather than trust to the corporate line or hotels.com or the like. If you quote them a price you found online, they will generally match that.) The room is okay. I’m not super-fastidious, but I found someone’s black sock lint in the tub. Better than little bugs, which I thought it was. But the tub is full length porcelain, and clearly regularly cleaned, they must have just missed the room this time. Wanted to jot down these notes before bed. If I have time tomorrow I may update this review. They’ve promised a really good breakfast…
