Budget!

This hotel is near Kintetsu Yokkaichi station. The lobby of hotel is in 3rd floor, then change to other elevator to upper floor. Room very small but good enough for business trip and enough for facilities need.

Small rooms, but clean, modern and comfortable

I've stayed in the Sanco Inn several times. The rooms are small (compared to Western hotels). The staff are friendly, helpful and speak reasonable English. The breakfast is basic, curry, rice, croissants, toast, coffee. But the quality is good. The hotel has a coin operated washer / dryer.

Good Japanese business hotel with small rooms. Bathroom size is slightly bigger than usual. Location is close to Yokkaichi Kintetsu station. Also several shops and Starbucks closeby. Room rate is good.

Best Business Hotel in Yokkaichi

Avaliou em 5 de fevereiro de 2012

If you have to be in Yokkaichi on business, stay at this hotel. It hits the mark where every other hotel in Yokkaichi misses: -It looks new and feels new -Free breakfast (relatively simple food but hey, it's free) -AC is temperature (number) controlled and can also just vent air (compared to useless high/low settings at other hotels) -Convenience store, supermarket, coffee (Starbucks, Komeda), and plenty of restaurants all just outside the hotel Probably the only thing missing is wireless internet** (there is, however, free LAN internet), but then again there is only one hotel in Yokkaichi I can think of that has WIFI, and that alone isn't enough to make me want to not stay here. **Actually, if you're a Softbank hotspot subscriber, there seems to be hotspots scattered throughout the hotel; I was on the 8th floor and usually got 2-3 bar WIFI signals on my iPad and iPhone

Business Hotel

Newish hotel with clean rooms. Great alternative to the Miyako if you need access to the Kintetsu line. Single rooms are very small but twin rooms are huge. Beds are typical for Japanese hotels - firm bed and a hard pillow. Internet is free and has reasonable bandwidth (was fine for video conferencing via facetime and skype). Staff speaks almost no English. Coin operated washing machines are a valuable resource for longer stays, there is also a fast and cheap dry cleaners in the shopping mall across the road. Lots of restaurants nearby as well as an excellent market underneath the Kintetsu station - there is even a Starbucks across the road. Starbucks makes a good alternative to the hotel's free breakfasts which are really basic (potato salad, some sort of canned fish, rolls, boiled eggs, juice, coffee).
