Localização excelente (mercados, farmácia, lojas e restaurantes), comodidade, apartamento completo e limpeza (sono tranquilo). Quando necessário o elevador estava fora de funcionamento. a rua tem vida noturna movimenta mas segura, tranquilo para andar com criança.
Lovely gem of a hotel
We visited in July 2019 - 3 friends. We were really positively surprised by how good the location is. Lots of nice funky coffee shops, bars and restaurants. A must place to go to eat nearby is mazel tov (also do a fantastic breakfast menu). Our family apartment was split into 2 levels - a comfy double bed on both floors - the stairs are steep, not a problem for mobile adults but would be a problem with small kids. Great balcony from the upper bedroom out onto a courtyard at the very top of the building. It is a residential block of apartments so noise is restricted after 9pm which suited us fine as we were out eating in the evening and we had enjoyed the quiet when home to sleep. The apartment was spotlessly clean. We had a late arrival and the hotel arranged a taxi for us to pick us up at the airport and also for the way home. Late check in was very smooth and the hotel staff very helpful and friendly. The atmosphere at the hotel is one of a small run business where they take great care in ensuring everything is working and guests are comfortable. Will definitely be coming back to visit again on another trip and would recommend to friends visiting the city.
Excellent location - very clean !
My wife and I stayed here Monday to Friday 6th to 10th May 2019. The apartment is in the Jewish quarter very close to city centre and a couple of streets away from the best ruin bar Szimplakert. There are numerous restaurants and bars on the same street all close by, a supermarket on the corner, breakfast is available at several close locations but we used Lion’s Locker which was excellent - very friendly English speaking cafe come luggage store which was spot on and only a 2 minute walk away. ATM machines are commonplace and there is one about 50 yds up the street. There isn’t much indication on the outside entrance to the building that you’re at the right place, the entrance being via a doored archway (with the number 19) between 2 shops, but just press the intercom button and they’ll buzz you in when you first arrive - after that you let yourself in via a key fob. Reception were very helpful and friendly and spoke good English. A busy area but the apartment is quiet. The stairs between the two floors are quite steep and a little awkward so I wouldn’t recommend this place for anyone with small children or mobility issues - but for everyone else it’s fine. The apartment we stayed in was number 9 and was very clean and well equipped but the tv is downstairs with a bed to sit on whereas the sofa is upstairs facing a wall - strange at first but then you don’t go to Budapest to watch TV ... only English channels are news channels anyway so it didn’t bother us. Easy walking distance to the main sites and attractions, 5 minutes to St. Stephen’s and the river front. Would recommend the free tour which meets outside the front of St. Stephen’s which is very informative and takes you over the river via Chain Bridge to the Buda side and the castle. All in all an excellent choice for us and we loved Budapest.
We have just returned from a family trip to Budapest and chose these apartments as they had more space and the ability to self cater. We chose the 2 bedroom elite apartment which was decorated to a high standard..fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, fridge freezer and oven . A coffee maker along with coffee pods, kettle and microwave are also provided. There is also wi-fi. The location is superb...just a short walk to the Buda eye, the Basilica and nearby bars. There are several supermarkets and restaurants nearby and the metro is a short walk. The main bus stop from the airport is just around the corner ..5 mins walk maybe which means the 900 forint fare (£2.50 ish) one way was cheap and easy
Not a hotel yet nice
This is not a hotel yet the rooms are very spacious. The first 3 floors are for permanent residents while the entire 4th floor are rentals. Each room has 2 levels with the lounge, kitchen and toilet on the first level and the bedroom and shower are on the second level. The bedroom level also has a small balcony with a table and chairs. The bed was a queen size and very comfortable. The residence is in a good location within 5 minute walk to all public transport (bus, subway, tram, taxi). There is a grocery store within a 2 minute walk so you can stock the kitchen for your stay. The kitchen comes with fridge, oven, microwave, kettle as well as cups, plates and cutlery. One of the rooms we had also had a washing machine. We did have trouble working the air conditioners so we had to leave a window partly open. We reported the next day and it was fixed for us. All the TV channels listed were not available. There are lots of options in the area for dining from coffee/cake, bakery, burgers and pizza to sit down restaurants.
