A Memorable holiday
My wife and I have recently returned from a weeks holiday spent at the Red Level part of this hotel. We were upgraded to a room with a full sea view, which was a very welcome surprise. 2088 is a lovely large room with a balcony which overlooks the sea and has a jacuzzi bath on it. All the staff we met on the Red Level were wonderful. Mohammed, one of the butlers, set the standard on our arrival at the hotel with his bright, cheerful and positive attitude. The staff on reception, the staff at breakfast (which is delicious) in fact all the staff we met could not have been more helpful. We enjoyed the various activities which were made available to us. Pilates, yoga, and meditation sessions were all well presented and enjoyable. You can of course sit by the pool where the concierge brings small treats at regular intervals The restaurants that we used were good, although the food at The Terrace was disappointing and over priced. The staff at reception will give you a map of the local town showing the main restaurants. They will even book you a table at your chosen spot. We found Sauco, about 10 minute walk away, to be very good for quality and price but it would be wise to book a table here for an evening meal. Walks along the coast are easy to find going left or right out of the gate at the end of the “tunnel” We truly had a memorable time. Thank you to all who made it possible including Brenda our cleaner.
Wife's 50th Birthday
Great relaxing holiday in the Red Level. Completely stress free and really enjoyable. The staff were exceleent and very attentive. A very nice touch with snacks throughtout the day and the open bar between 5.30 -6.30pm was an excellent way to end the day, having a drink and watching the sunset whilst enjoying a drink.
Had the most perfect holiday
I booked the Red Level Grán Meliá for my partners birthday and we had the most amazing time. The staff couldn’t do more for you, the room was spacious and clean, I would recommend the jacuzzi room! The hotel was huge and the red level pool was of a good size, the beds were comfy and overall it was so chilled which is what we needed. We ate in the hotel once and found the food nice too, we got up for breakfast every day and there was a good selection of food. Water was free round the pool which is always good. The location is within 15 mins of restaurants if you want to venture out too and is right on the beach. Overall we couldn’t fault the hotel and we would definitely return 😊
Another great stay
Second time staying here in January and once again it was fantastic! Service great, facilities lovely and of high quality, weather was warm. So happy to see that standards has not slipped despite some recent reviews. Did not eat in the hotel (apart from breakfast, which was good), instead enjoyed the restaurants in the local village - Sauco, Casa Mon and El Rincon Barriga - all very good. Monica at Red Level reception was great and very helpful. Tried out a couple of the activities - yoga, which was not really yoga and not great, and Boxfit, which was done very well by Enrique. The cocktails at 5.30pm were also still in place and a nice way to watch the sunset. All in all, I head home fully rested and refreshed - will be back next year.
Gem on the Isle of Tenerife
Stayed in the Red Level 3-10 Jan. Just what we needed after a busy year at work and a hectic big family Christmas. The beds were the most comfy I’ve slept in and a real treat to find the Clarins products in the bathroom. The clarins spa and hairdressers looked lovely although we didn’t manage to fit this in. Every restaurant we tried was second to none and we are big fine diners. We did not have one bad meal in the week. The fresh fruit/ water/ hot drinks that you can help yourself to throughout the day is a bonus. All grounds are spotlessly clean as is the pool and all the hotel areas. The rooms are cleaned to a very high standard and lovely to have a turn down service (a lot of hotels have stopped this). The tennis courts were fab (and free for Red Level). My only criticism would be there is no bright light for putting make up on but easily rectified by taking a light- up make up mirror on my next Visit. All staff are lovely and drinks at the bar are very reasonably priced. Can’t wait to return in April. Thank you to all for making our stay fabulous:)
