Very nice stay in Shangri-La Hotel Huhhot
Nice hotel with very friendly staff in excellent location for tourism - some Issues, however, can still be improved to get to a five star level a) English level of some staff and b) noise in the room (we had a room with connecting room through which we could hear every night until 1 am the talking and crying of the neighbors)

It was my first time in visiting Huhhot. I didn't have much understanding of this city. Thanks to Concierge Mr. Kingsley Guo for very patient with my questions and told me a lot of things in made me easier to get into this culture. A great Golden Key gave me a wonderful trip.
Great staff help
The hotel was up to Shangri-La's high standards of excellence. We especially enjoyed the breakfast in the buffet restaurant. Yogurt and yogurt drinks with Mongolian dairy products were yummy. During our stay we suddenly had to change plans and depart for Shanghai. The staff at the Horizon Club did everything. A special thank you to Lulu Zhang and Concierge Simon Bi. They contacted China Eastern directly and enabled us to leave that night,
We are loyal customers of Shangri La. Hohhot Shangri La is located right at the centre, within 5 mins walk to shops, restaurants and malls nearby. We find the staff at the Concierge are friendly and helpful.. Miss Christina Zhang is an asset to the Hotel.....her smiles and warm hospitality made our trip a special one. Keep up the excellent service!
pretentious and disrespectful staff
miss pan the manager of this hotels western restaurant First she said they are able to cater for us I also asked for Chinese food to be taken away She had to check and chinese restaurant refused to do take away for me And she wanted me to come over to the hotel to discuss with them I said I am not going it’s a waste of time for me if you can’t guarantee what you can offer our passengers I wanted her to confirm what I can take away from the hotel She said fried rice burger sandwich Our passengers don’t eat these kind of light casual meals and they are willing to spend a lot on quality food such as bird nest and fish maw soups and etc It was yesterday on 23rd I was talking to her and also asked for labelling each food item for me so I can arrange and serve our passengers on 25th She said she needs time to print out the labels and pushed me to come to the hotel to settle food bills.... Without confirming what I can order and also I am waiting for our approval on the menu It was a very tiring and despairing experience working with this hotel I used to be a big fan of Shangri-La .... guess not any more apology letter from this hotel was not even saying sorry just to let you know it’s a misunderstanding yeah right
