Terrible customer service
My husband and I needed somewhere local to stay on our wedding night after the reception, and we chose this Quality Inn because the pricing was reasonable. A few of our guests also stayed here. Our expectations were low to begin with, but this hotel still managed to disappoint. The biggest issue was that, for some reason, the hotel had turned off all AC to the guest rooms. It was 68 degrees outside and 78 degrees in our room. No fan, no ability to open windows. My husband had stayed in the room the night before as well and had alerted the front desk about the issue, but no changes were made; they told him to just turn the whole unit off. We know we weren't the only guests to complain, because we heard passing conversation in the elevator about it, and our friends/family also lodged complaints. A few groomsmen showed up to get ready with my husband that afternoon, and they had to prop the door open and stand in the hallway to withstand the heat. The lobby and hallways were cool, so the AC was clearly working in other areas of the building. We ended up checking out 45 minutes after arriving that night because we could not stand being in the room and certainly couldn't sleep. The desk attendant couldn't have cared less about the issue and didn't even consider offering a partial refund for a night that wasn't spent in the room. Terrible customer service in a sub-par hotel.
We were just passing thru and we had a room with a kitchen. The suite was huge! A living room and a bedroom. Very comfortable bedding. Clean. No bugs found (and we look) Driving up to the hotel, it's very dark. Couldn't really tell where the entrance was. The shower hot water took about 15 minutes to get hot and we were on the 1st floor. No real big complaints about our room. Hotel is located in a very quiet area.
Uneasy Female Traveler DO NOT STAY HERE
The front desk staff was extremely rude. Did not even look up when I approached the desk. Made just about everything possible difficult. The first room had a hole in the ceiling above the toilet/shower are in the bathroom, extremely concerning as a female traveler. Especially in an area where privacy is key. Once I made my way to the bed area there was a stale smell. The top sheet and several of the pillows where yellowing. I pulled back the comforter and there was hair on the bed. I asked to change rooms. When approaching the 2nd room I noticed the door was open and there was an overwhelming smell of mens cologne. This made me feel that someone had been in the room. Glanced over at the bathroom and the toilet had obviously been used. Hair was on the towels. Bed also had yellowing sheets/pillow cases. The door would shut but would just open without a key card. I then decided to check out and not stay here. The front desk again was very rude about this, telling me there was no way to get my money back because of a 24 hour cancellation policy...even though there was literally a hole in my ceiling. I was traveling for business and work in the restaurant/hospitality industry. The absolute worst hotel experience I have had. I felt extremely uneasy as a female traveler. Will never recommend this hotel brand to any of my clients, friends, family, co-workers etc.
Don't stay you have been warned Breakfast is awful TV are always on the frits.Its not safe no cameras in the building.They want me to add for comments the weekends there is no managment most of the time and my biggest beef is no Golf Channel if I want to watch golf I have to go out to watch.
The hotel appeared to be pretty run down, but what really upset me was finding a bed bug in my son’s bed! I packed my bags and checked out right away. I was not refunded for my troubles and the manager never returned my messages.
