I was expecting beautiful sea food as this came reccomended on trip advisor. The squid starter reemblend a pre packed frozen dish. The sea bass fillet was grilled to cinders and then covered with a blanket of sauce, the vegetables served with it suspiciously looked as if coming out from a frozen supermarket packet. Pity: the location is great, the service is unnecessarily hurried and perfunctory, the food is really not for the refined palate...the wine is good. Sorry guys!
For a time when money was tight it was idea for me.2011 12 and 13 I paid cash at 20 to 24 EUR a day.I like my quiet private apartment around by the Tennis court.Since I have been staying in 4 star places maybe j can look back and see what people are saying.I always found Mario a charm g and friendly man.My Hobb was giving me shocks and he did nothing but it didn't matter.I guess the place isn't that good but there you go
This hotel is a joke. Don't be fooled by pictures you see on here. The apartments are filthy. We was given 3 different rooms to all of them being at the same standard. This place needs knocking down and rebuilt. We stayed 1 night and checked out the next day it was that bad. Reception wasn't even bothered we checked out and that we wasn't happy. Would definitely not recommend this place not even for a short stay.
THE WORST IN LANZAROTE
What can i say about this place!! My wife and I decided to visit lanzanrote and stay im different towns every day during our stay in the island and we booked one night here. When we arrived to the room didn't look at all like the pictures but was only one night we decided to stay, big mistake. Well, after we settle down in the evening we went out for dinner as usually but when we came back to the room we noticed that the door was forced and a while we were out someone broked the lock. My wife went straight to the reception and the lady first comment was ' this was the boys next door' and moved us to a different apartment that was just bellow the 'boys next door' so we weren't secure and moved to a different hotel in the town. When i try to get a refund the managers answer was tha they don't do refunds. Well, im not english but i just wanted to write this review in english because i notice that the most of the customers here were english speakers. The people that run this place don't really care about people or even worst the place that they work or own. To resume: GET AWAY FROM THIS HORRIBLE PLACE EVEN IF YOU THINK IS A BARGAIN!! Was the worst part of our stayed in the beautiful island!!
Very Poor Apartment!!!
Las Terrazas in Puerto Del Carmen is not a nice place to stay for those of us with sound mind. I booked this hotel for a night as I came in early and was checking into another apartment the following day. Las Terrazaz, is Nicely painted and the location is superb, very close to everything within walking distance which is a major plus. The front of the hotel has a piece of steel that forms the ridges on the steps. This is dislodged and can cost serious injury if you are not looking where you are going. Staff then put a huge rock on it to keep it down, problem solved, sigh. Let’s start from the reception. Where they speak of concierge desk be wary that it is has opening and closing times which is not conducive -friendly greeting, welcoming, inviting but when ever you need something it is closed and the sign states you have to seek the pool manager/pool attendant for check in, keys, any issues and when he is not there you are forced to sit and wait until he returns. Getting internet, get it when you enter whilst they are there as otherwise your stuffed, guest time is their time not to hang around and wait till someone notices us to enquire if we need a service. Really nice restauranteur on property, always smiling pleasant and full of assistance. Got to my room, it was horrible. £55 pounds. I would only be left to think other rooms are much nicer dependent on price and location around the complex. You expect basic things like a closing fridge, clean counters, clean floors etc The place needs an exterminator coming and fumigating as spiders were crawling all over the ceiling. The beds are really uncomfortable and it suits the drunk and inebriated. The room was in a constant state of disrepair, and needs an update, it amazes me the money these hoteliers make and you can’t focus on one room at a time? Or off season close a part and refurbish? Everything looked dirty and unclean and no way was I taking a shower. NO WAY. When you have guests scared to walk barefoot in your room and touching anything, When you prefer using restaurant and bar facilities than your own bathroom in Las Terraz you know something is wrong. Just felt dirty, looked unkempt and I would advise you to broaden your search. I wanted to hang some clothes but when I looked in the provided cupboard, there was a boiler at the top part and this was leaking and causing water to drop on any hanged material. There was a chair provided so I was able to place any hanging material on it. The place was so cold that I had to turn on the electric stove, all 4 burners to generate a level of heat. I wouldn’t stay here again even for a better priced room but I believe cleanliness is important. I wouldn’t mind staying in the 55 pound room as long as it appears clean and sanitary. Please revisit and look at COSTA SAl VILLAS AND SUITES PUERTO DEL CARMEN. Review to follow. PLEASE. Thank me later. £200 for 4 days and this is a place you would love, those that like nice clean things. So, you’ve been warned. If I had to stay for more than a night,I would have been very unhappy and I would have moved anyway. Don’t book it....
