AVOID

If I could give 0 stars I would. First, they only accept $50 cash for the incidental deposit that's refundable. I do not travel with cash. Plus, I do not want to touch cash during COVID-19. Check in is 3PM but they asked me to go back at 4PM because the rooms were not done being cleaned. The maids were not wearing gloves or masks. None of the employees were wearing masks. The hotel was run down and dirty. They even had old broken air conditioning units just on the parking lot immediately upon entry. Very trashy. I stay in hotels quite often for work. I'm currently on the phone with Choice Hotels Rewards program praying they give my rewards points back from this hotel that I will not be staying in. Clearly, management has no policies in place for COVID-19 and that's disgusting since it's a hotel. I'm in the parking lot of the Comfort Inn across the street waiting on Choice Hotels representative to come back on the phone and hopefully get me in a different hotel.

Always a challenge to find a motel that excepts pets while traveling. This place turned out to be very nice. Price was good. Front desk help was great and helpful. The room was clean and quiet. I would stay here again.

Not up too much

If you are looking for a 1 night stay this place is just ok, just. The most important thing is cleanliness. The bed sheets had holes and the pillow cases had old marks on them. 2 very small pillows on a queen bed. The bathroom really does did a re-fit. Very old and stained bath with shower over which needs replacing. Coffee maker did not work. Having said that the room does have aircon, microwave and fridge. The wi-fi was good. The young man on check in was very pleasant. Breakfast typical continental. Room rate was good. Just could do with some tlc.

Hotel has no cancellation policy, cost me 40 something dollors when I made a misake by booking the wrong day. Which was1-2 July. Actual shedule day were the 12-17 July, arrived to secure my room around 5:00 stood in office 15 to 20 mlm. Finally someone showed up,, I got my room went in and notice the first thing need some repair & cleaning. Then open the sperator door between the rooms and lo & behold there were roaches inside. If they had not put the charge on my acount I would have departed and found somewhere more suitable.

Hawaii Travellers stay at Rodeway Inn, Alexandria, LA

Reviewed 15 november, 2016

Wifee and I were on our journey back to Louisiana from Jackson, MS. We didn''t have to stay here, but I don't have much discretion on time and travel distance adn I thought after driving from Jackson, I needed to rest before getting back to Lafayette, LA. We got here early in the afternoon and front desk clerk Rebecca was very nice and provided some local info. The room itself was clean enough and outside entry faced a large big rig parking lot. Diesels running all night, but the room was quite enough. An uneventful night and free light breakfast/coffee and we were on our way the next morning.
