Visited 14th sept hotel bit dated farer away than realised especially for anyone with mobility issues everyone with Tui assigned to third floor which is in need of refurbishment cleaning staff do lovely job especially the lovely Maria who was such nice lady and credit to them .shower cubicle for want of better word was quite lethal anybody with disabilities would find it challenging to say the least Breakfast was nice plesent staff was disappointed with no balcony also fact no bar which I was lead to believe there was and with me being solo would probably not have chose this hotel had I known not really that impressed with Tui reps enjoyed my stay in Sardinia but that was due to place and not hotel .
Ok for short stay
Just back from a short stay at this hotel. Room very clean and fresh towels supplied every day. The pool area is very very dated and not clean. We decided against using the pool because of the cleanliness. Reception staff very friendly and helpful. Probably would not return due to the fact that there is nothing to do at the hotel and the pool area not up to scratch.
Excellent location. 2mins to beach & bars. 5mins to supermarket. 20mins amble along the sea front to the old town. Good size pool sunbeds always available. Large twin room with sea & mountain view no balcony. Only negative is the shower which is lethal & needs updating. Hotel spotless thanks to Maria our delightful cleaner. Breakfast awesome fresh & tasty everything you could possibly want. Antonio made the best cappuccino I have ever tasted and delivered it to our table along with a double espresso for my sister. Tui rep Chloe very good and always available. Sardinia is a lovely beach resort full of Italian families holidaying.
Nice hotel for weekend break
Found this hotel on my last visit to Alghero. Very friendly and helpful staff indicating various places of interest in old town which is within easy walking distance from the hotel. Location also good for beach - two minute walk.Great breakfast -wide choice of items for all tastes including gluten free choices. Special mention must be made of the personally made cappuccinos- good quality coffee with artistic designs-delicious! .Rooms newly decorated and spotlessly clean. Overall I would recommend this hotel as good quality for the price.
Would not stay again
Ok what can I say? Do not stay here if you are going with TUI. They misslead you with pictures of the two newley renovated floors but all the TUI customers get shoved onto the un renovated third floor. The bathroom is shocking, our sink had cracks in it and the shower is in some strange little bath with an uneven bottom so you cant even stand in it properly. It was advertised as a room with a balcony but you cannot even get a plastic chair on it sideways. The fridge is so old it takes 48 hours for anything to get near cold. The balcony door handle was broken. The pool is a five minute walk away and has no pool bar. I asked about a bar and was directed to a vending machine. The cold breakfast was ok but there is no hot food unless you like cheep fried hot dogs and some awful looking mushed up fried egg. Only plus side was it is close to the beach and I could not fault the cleanliness. The cleaners are amazing and do a very good job. Shame on you TUI for falsely advertising this hotel. I have never had a bad hotel with a TUI trip until now. If it had been advertised that I was going to be put in a second rate room for the money we paid I would never have booked it.
