The hotel is very nice, nice decorated rooms, but our shower kept leeking all on the bathroom floor, no shower curtain. The only reason I will not stay ever again, is its on a very noisy street corner, with a karaoke pub below, with singing till 4am. Take your earplugs/cotton wool, or get drunk and sleep all day!!
Breakfast could be better.
Stayed here last year. The hotel as a whole is lovely. The staff are friendly, the rooms are cleaned daily and you get fresh towels, and the beds are huge. It’s also in a perfect location within walking distance of all the hustle and bustle, and the beach. A couple of gripes though; one being the cooked breakfast, which was hit or miss. A couple of days it was okay, but the rest of the holiday it was just weird. I didn’t realise hot dog sausages were a breakfast item. We ended up eating breakfast elsewhere a couple of times. My second gripe, and it’s not really the hotel’s fault, but if you stay in a room overlooking the street out front, be prepared, unless you’re a heavy sleeper, to be woken up most mornings at 5AM by either a bloke whistling and singing, or people having extremely loud conversations.
on arrival hotel was great very clean young man on reception very helpful the room was wonderful biggest beds we,ve ever seen Laura who cleaned our room was very nice .The sun terrace was good . Thats were it ended the food was at times over cooked ,cold Im lucky I like fish but some of that was tasteless we ate out twice because of this and recommend Vincents Bar next door the food there is great and entertainment is good too would not stay at this hotel again the food really lets it down .
Not so great
Visited this hotel at the end of August for a few days. Apart from a good location (v close to beaches & restaurants) it’s very basic: no tea/coffee facilities in the room, restaurant only available for buffet type meals (included) but not a la carte, serving staff not speaking English. The reception and the bars are quite modern but the rooms are as basic as a 2* hotel back in my country in the Dictatorship era!! Definitely not a 4*, I’d be quite generous in giving it a 3* Won’t be returning and would not really recommend unless you are booking very last minute and there’s no other options!
The hotel voramar is in an exerlent position not far from all amenities the room was very clean and the food was excellent and hot with a great veriaton all staff very helpful and friendly service all round .
