One of the best hotel experiences someone can have
Generally I do not write many reviews but my staying in Terrado was extraordinary and they fully deserve a good review, especially the amazing people working there. I stayed in Terrado Suites for a few nights in January. The hotel is ultra clean, the rooms are HUGE and all of them with full sea view. The staff ultra helpful, they would greet you everywhere and even if catching you in the elevator they were asking if everything is fine and how could they assist you. On top of these, the restaurant is very decent, with a beautiful variety of options (highly recommending the Lomo Saltado there, it’s simply amazing). I left the best part last, the spa located in the basement of the hotel....make sure you have enough time to enjoy it. As a bonus, the hotel is next door to a huge shopping mall where you can do shopping, find alternative dining options and cinema. I wish I could spend some more time there but for sure I ll be back in the near future.
Pretty Good for the most prt
Stayed here for business and it was pretty good for the most part. Elevators seemed like they didn’t always work and took forever. Location was great, water pressure great, room pretty good. The restaurant was good but the servers need some real help. We are there for lunch and dinner multiple days and NOT ONCE did they get 100% of the orders correctly. For the price I would have thought they would have been better.
The staff here are brilliant; we arrived on the wrong day but they still honoured our Expedia price. Very swanky lobby area and the sea view from the rooms is lovely Two soft beds with plush pillows and great modern bathroom made the hotel the perfect place to relax. My only complaint (which isn’t the hotels fault), is that the noise from the bars is a bit too loud and it goes on quite late. Ask for a higher room to avoid this problem. I highly recommend this hotel for a sea front posh option.
On the water
This hotel is within an easy walk to downtown and a major shopping center next door. It's clean, modern and comfortable. Also, as the pictures show, it is on the water. Parking can be tricky but can also be done.
Very nice hotel but with a noisy neighbor.
We stayed at this hotel for two nights as a base to visit the ESO's Paranal telescopes. The hotel is modern and sited very nicely directly on the bay. The views out over the bay were extraordinary. The rooms were spacious and had balconies looking over the bay. The canonical lighting arrangement (see my review of Cumbres Lastarria in Santiago) was supplemented by a bright desk lamp that was on the large desk on one side of the room. This was easily the nicest room we stayed in in Chile. The bath was bright and modern with a stall shower that had adequate hot water and good pressure. The sink area was somewhat skimpy for places to put things, though, and there could have been more hooks. Elevator service was fast and efficient. The food was very good, but the hotel has only one restaurant (one of the reasons I didn't rate this excellent). Service was OK but not up to the standards of the physical plant. They tended to run out of coffee in the mornings. The other reason I didn't rate this hotel as excellent was their noisy neighbor: apparently a disco next door that was very loud very late at night. Some of our party complained and got moved to rooms further from the noise. I tend to go to bed late anyway so it didn't really bother me.
