Perfect holiday

Reviewed 21 september, 2022

Extraordinary position, few steps from a gorgeous beach, great service and atmosphere. We loved the independent dependance with a private garden, terrace and very well-organized internal space. Perfect solution for a family, you just cross the street and all hotel services are easily available (and strongly suggested). Very good breakfast and quality dinner, the staff is always available to make your stay even better and to address you to the best activities, beaches, restaurants and tourist attraction. I strongly recommend as an outdoor experience the catamaran service they can directly arrange; probably one of the best way to discover the Maddalena Islands and hidden beaches, thanks to a very professional and experienced staff caring about both your enjoyment and full safety. Definitely a great place to stay in when visiting Costa Smeralda.

Our family have had a wonderful stay at the hotel. We stayed in the villa behind the hotel and it was impecably clean with plenty of space for us all. Breakfast was a mix of continental with eggs, bacon and on occassion sausage. The breakfast staff were efficient and extremely friendly. The pool and pool bar area are perfect and can easily pass the day relaxing here. The pool bar was very reasonably priced for the area. A special thanks to Thomas/Tomas at front desk, a lovely lady at the front desk who's name i didnt catch and Ricardo at the pool bar (forza milan!), their service was incredible and a credit to the hotel. However every member of staff we met had a fantastic attitude. We look forward to our next stay in the future!

This is not a dog friendly hotel!

Reviewed 30 september, 2021

This hotel advertises itself to be dog friendly but it is not! If you are traveling with a dog, they put you in a separate building with tiny rooms, no WiFi and no safe deposit and with the key they hand you the house rules stating that dogs are not allowed anywhere in the hotel and around the pool. The hotel itself would be quite charming but quite dated. The rooms are clean and comfortable, though the mattresses are very soft and the AC is very weak. The swimming pool may not be used between 1.30 to 4.30pm - something I have never experienced anywhere else. We only had breakfast at the hotel and were underwhelmed by the choice and quality of the food at the breakfast buffet. We tried to make an order once which was denied both times, once claiming they had no eggs in the kitchen and the second time claiming that the chef was not in yet. This means that you are limited to what is available on the buffet. But what lets this hotel down most is its director. I do not know why he works in hospitality. He is arrogant and rude and obviously does not know how to handle issues. The young female receptionist, however, is very friendly and competent. We would personally not return to this hotel. There are other hotels in Baia Sardinia that are beautiful and probably better value for money.

Great location, very clean - most of the staff is great

Reviewed 22 july, 2019

The hotel i well situated to a wonderful beach that is very easy to get to. They keep the hotel clean and the rooms are very sweet. I was traveling by myself and was surprised to find upon check in that they only had a few single rooms which were in the back after I was led to believe by my travel agent that it might be possible to have a sea view. She told me she was told this by the hotel but sounds like there was a misunderstanding. I was happy with my room in the end and it was nice and quiet and the AC worked great. The only issue was the cigarette smoke that sometimes entered into the room from the other balconies when I wanted to have my door open. I was quite happy with the food and the professionalism and friendliness of the restaurant staff. They were great! You are required to sit at the same table every day which they assign, and this helps the wait staff to know your needs. The host at first gave me a table I was not happy with but he changed it for me. The breakfast was wonderful, lots to choose from with healthy options, and the dinners went from just ok to amazing on different nights. Well worth the price. You might want to know that although they are close to the beach, beach chairs and umbrellas are not offered as part of the hotel service. You have to rent them (18euros per day) at the beach and you need to pay the hotel 5 euros for towel that you can keep the whole time if you like. The entrance to the parking lot in the back of the hotel is not that easy to find and there are limited parking spaces. There is a few spillover lot next door. Most of the staff was wonderful but I found a few exceptions in the older gentlemen at the reception desk. I didn't feel so welcomed by them. Thats why I can't give this 5 stars. The women however were great and the night staff was also great.

Very nice hotel, convenient located. Food average.

We stayed for one week there. Rooms quite small. Very clean. Located close to the sea (about 2 minutes walk). Food was rather average (especially in the morning) if you consider what is available in Sardegna or Italy in general. Too big portions in the evening. Very friendly staff! It is better to speak Gemran than English.
