We stayed two nights at the Baymont by Wyndham Asheville/Biltmore Village hotel.
I have only positive comments for this hotel. Check In was quick and easy. The room was clean, everything worked, the bed was comfortable, and it was a good room. We were on the 5th floor, and it was incredibly quiet. My limited interactions with the staff were all positive.
I looked at hotels in downtown Asheville and the pricing was beyond excessive. The Baymont was HALF the cost of any decent hotel in the downtown area, and frankly, in a better neighborhood. I typically prefer to stay in city centers but there comes point when price dictates lodging decisions. The Baymont was an excellent value.
The maid service was top notch. Plenty of fresh towels, everything was cleaned, I couldn’t ask for more.
The room has a coffee maker, and this may seem like a little thing (it is) but it’s a nice feature that even some higher end hotels skip for some reason. The room also had a refrigerator (nice to have) and the AC worked as it should. Parking was free and convenient. The facility was safe with cameras in the well-lit, clean parking lot.
My only complaint, and it’s a tiny one, is the hotel lacks a bar. (There is one next door at the Holiday Inn).
There are multiple restaurants within walking distance, including a nice steakhouse (Red Stag)
If you are visiting Biltmore Estate, the entrance to Biltmore is less than 1/2 mile away.
The Baymont is close to I-40 and Biltmore Village.
The Baymont by Wyndham Asheville/Biltmore Village is an outstanding example that good, safe, clean lodging doesn’t need to be hideously expensive.
I would stay here again and I would send by friends here.
Wonderful night's stay w/ hot breakfast

I stay here the same time every year. Having Texas Roadhouse two doors down was great and the hotel breakfast in the morning was even better. The pool and the hot tub did the trick after a day of motorcycle riding. Can't wait til next year !
Very Clean! Great location for Biltmore visit.

Hotel was spotless! Breakfast was an individual, plentiful bag of goodies due to Covid. Breakfast bag included fruit, pastry, yogurt, snack such as peanuts, granola bar and some kind of juice. Very well done! Staff was friendly. Nice indoor pool area. 0.5 miles to Biltmore entrance, 3 miles to downtown. Lots of restaurants nearby. All kinds of fast food, Texas Roadhouse and Arby’s right next door. Highly recommend the local burger/shake joint, Juicy Lucy’s, only 1 mile away. Very interesting menu and great service. Every single person we interacted with in Asheville was friendly and welcoming. Don’t miss Biltmore!
Happy with the hotel. Close to downtown

Staff was very nice and the hotel was clean. Just a straight shot to downtown from it. The breakfast buffet was not going on which was somewhat disappointing but no big deal. Nice that there is a Starbucks next door and walkable.
