This room was clean and roomy but the best thing about it was it sits right on the lake with a back door opens to a private balcony that faces the west for wonderful views of the sunset. I will diffidently stay here again if I come back that way. The one draw back for us is we need a handicap room and my husband needs a roll in shower but it was a regular tub. They said all the rooms were like that. So he was not able to use the tub. Also in our room the shower hand was broken so I could only use it as I was holding it.But the view and private balcony made it with the inconvenience.

Just checked in, oh maybe, 20minutes ago and found a little black bug crawling on the wall and some type of LIVE worms HATCHING out of white eggs under the bed skirt!!!! My daughter dropped something and found them. Not to mention the dark blood appearing stain on the top comforter and light shade of all places!!!
What a extremely high priced dump!!! If they can't even use a vacuum, clean the floor properly, or remove dirty bed spreads...what do you suppose are on the sheets they expect people to sleep on??? Absolutely stomach churning to even think about!!!!
Dirty room, cold pool, rundown

We had a two night stay booked, but canceled the second night. For a $300 room, we expected much more.
The room initially looked OK, but then we started noticing but we had a lot of flies, there was a straw wrapper under the desk, there were cobwebs and fly marks on the windowsill and in the ceiling corners.Along with being dirty, there was a lot of deferred maintenance, such as the closet door that stayed far open without being blocked, several cracks in the bathroom floor tile, a large chip out of the tub, and a very rusty crusty looking showerhead.
The pool area was very dark, and did not feel clean and tidy. The pool bathroom was filthy. The hot tub was not very hot, and had a lot of sand and dirt. The swimming pool and waterslide area was not clean, and the pool water was cold. My kids were out within 10 minutes and said they were done.
The breakfast was typical Covid, but I made sure to only pick sealed prepackaged items.
The parking lot had at least one overhead light burned out or off, creating a very dark section.
Overpriced Room and Dismal Service

Upon checking in, I rang the bell as no one was at the desk. A gal came out of the office and did not greet me, but waited for me to tell her what I needed. I told her I was checking in. She asked for my name and found my reservation. She said I was lucky that my room was ready and handed me my cards. She did not tell me where my room was, or mention anything about the facilities (pool hours, breakfast, etc.) At $200+ per night, I expect to at least be greeted and thanked.
The room was average and they do not provide daily housekeeping. I don't have a problem with this, however, I do not understand why hotels have not figured out that if they want us to keep reusing our towels, they should have multiple hooks/towel bars for which to hang towels.
The pool area is very nice, but the male lifeguard on duty, both nights of our stay, looked put out and bored. He had a scowl on his face and was on his phone the entire time we were there. Not sure why they are paying a lifeguard to sit on his phone.

Stayed here 2 years ago and excited for another stay with the beautiful location. Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the rooms was not acceptable. Could not use the pullout bed because of the smell from accumulated trash and crumbs under that couch and on the mattress, no shower curtain on the shower, 3 out of 5 wheels missing on computer chair and shower water would not drain.
