Friday lunch

Reviewed 23 march, 2022

Went there for lunch with my nephew. The staff were polite, professionals and took time to recommend what to eat. The food was generous and met expectations. The beef, mutton, chicken is sourced from the ranch. On the drive to the resort, saw zebras, gazelless, ostriches, wildebeests. I enjoyed myself

Fantastic Place to Visit/Stay on the Athi Plains

Reviewed 2 february, 2022

Stoni Athi is an amazing sanctuary situated in a secludd part of the Athi Plains. It's construction looks well thought-through from beginning to end and is ideal for corporate retreats that need assurance that participants can be focused for the entirety of the activity. The rooms are spacious, beds big (king-sized) and showers hot with plenty of water at adequate pressure. While it would also be great for a family outing, the food/beverage prices are a little on the higher side especially given that they do not have special signature dishes. It is a fantastic hotel; will be back.

Disappointing

Reviewed 2 january, 2022

I loved the architectural designs of the hotel, however, Less workers hence soo slow and poor services as well as the management. They tolerate the adults in the babies pools which endanger the safety of the kids😠. And the food is over priced and horrible not worth the charges😩 paid 8k for plate of 2, photos below. On 1st Jan 2022. I had a bad experience as a 1st time visit😞. I won’t recommend this place.

Lovely staycation, worth the drive

Reviewed 28 june, 2021

I visited Stoni over the weekend with My Family and we had a lovely time, from the reservation with Monica to services by Julius and Jonathan and Mr. Mathenge the Manager the hospitality and care was beyond being imagine. My young daughter Makena had a special bond with Athi and has been asking when are we going back to visit her "friend" Mr. Mathenge. The one on one touch that the Manager had with us to check on our stay was recommendable. Looking forward to be back. Overall I would recommend Stoni to family gate away especially with couples with Kids as you can book their lovely cottages and feel the ambiance of the room and comfort.

Lovely retreat near the city!

Reviewed 10 may, 2021

Spent some time here during a workshop. The team was pleasant and helpful throughout my stay. They went above and beyond to take care of us. The rooms were lovely with great views of the plains and wildlife! Not forgetting the setting sun! All peaceful, clean and well equipped for a short to long stay. Wifi works well in the rooms, the TV comes with most local and some international channels, the bar is relatively well-stocked. They have a pool including a baby section - did not get to use this. Will try it next time. They also have a gym. Recommendations for improvement : Food - improve food varieties especially the dessert options. Consider a more global menu using locally available ingredients. The chapatis were however great! In-room coffee making facility - please include creamer for the coffee Eco-rating - consider acquiring an eco-rating. This will then influence the use of plastic water bottles, single-use plastic toiletries, water use, etc. It would be great if the resort became an extension of the conservation efforts on the conservancy.
