This is my second visit to this hotel within the last two months. During my first visit at the end of July 2021 we enjoyed the experience so much I extended my stay by two days. After checking out and realizing that I needed a hotel room for one additional day I unsuccessfully pleaded with the hotel staff during a late night call to open a room for us for the night. The staff are professional, the rooms well appointed, the bar and Resturant staff make you feel like an old friend.
This time around things were not quite the same - and no one is at fault. The bar was not stocked with a favorite drink and the WiFi was so u predictable that I was routed to the external sub-contractor to notify them of the issue. When departing earlier today it still looked as if someone needed to restock the bar and around 10p last night the WiFi issue was repaired.
One minor observation - when you visit the facility take note of the artwork. For instance, the elevator bank is covered with cassette tapes in a variety of colors - and in room 1903 there is a piece of art that is probably called - “painting outside of the lines”. It looks as if the artist dragged their brush with blue paint up and outside of the frame and up to the ceiling where the brush remains till today.
Located in walking distances of innumerable places to eat, two blocks away from a fully stocked grocery store, coffee shops and more - Marriott did it well this time around.

Super super friendly people work here. Truly seem to enjoy working her and helping people. They make your trip so enjoyable. 2 people in particular were Natasha & Kalyn at the front desk
Hotel itself is super clean & new. Modern. The hotel room was awesome. Comfy bed.
Can’t say enough good things about this place
Parking and staffing are a real problem

The room was pretty nice, and most of our issues were due to understaffing, so I'll attribute that to COVID. The parking garage was a mess, though, and that's not because of COVID. Upon arrival, you must park at the curb (as though using valet, although valet isn't available), walk inside, check in, get your room key, go around the block, and enter the garage with your room key from a different street. There is no signage about this process. The garage is poorly marked, so you'll ask yourself "is this right?" The garage is overcrowded with some guests parking in the aisles. There is no elevator within the garage, and the available stairs say they are only for emergency exit. We parked on the roof and had to walk all the way down the ramp to reach the door into the hotel. It's not a terrible walk, just awkward with luggage and dodging traffic. Perhaps this hotel is normally "valet only" and that's why their garage isn't set up for guest convenience. Service was poor. All Bonvoy app chat requests and phone calls to the front desk went unanswered. Again, this is likely due to COVID staffing levels.

I booked this hotel for my wedding, which took place on 03.13.2021. We booked 2 suites -- 1 as the bridal and honeymoon suite and 1 as the groom's getting ready suite. I booked directly with the sales manager at the location and secured a contract for the room block. Quite a few of my guests also booked with the hotel at a discounted rate.
Our wedding venue and the rehearsal dinner restaurant were located right across the street from the hotel. I called ahead to find out if I'd be allowed to check in early on the day of arrival since I had many guests arriving that day and a rehearsal and dinner scheduled for that night; I planned to get ready at the hotel for convenience and ease. I was told when I called that my rooms were not ready so I decided to check in after dinner.
When we arrived at the hotel, I was told by front desk staff that they had given 1 of my suites away and did not plan to compensate me for the inconvenience -- the most they were willing to do is still charge me for a smaller room. This would not work because we had multiple people staying in that room and a barber arriving the next day to provide getting ready services for the groom's party. We intentionally booked a suite to allow for proper space and social distancing. I asked to speak to the manager and was told there was no manager available until 9am the following morning. The front desk staff then proceeded to yell at me, pack up her things, and left the hotel in the middle of the conversation. I called the customer service line and after a few rounds of discussion, got them to agree to comp the 2nd room...but they still would not be giving us our 2nd suite.
Front desk staff were rude to me, my guests and my wedding vendors during my entire stay (3 days). When I attempted to check out, they claimed that the computers were down. Later, I received a charge on my credit card for the room that they had agreed to comp and an additional charge for $3, which was never explained. It took weeks for me to get my money back...the $3 charge was never returned.
This was such an embarrassing and disappointing experience. It put a major damper on my wedding experience. I absolutely regret booking this hotel for my wedding and feel so bad that I put my guests and vendors through that experience. Save yourself the disappointment and do not book here.
Overnight SCAD Stay

We chose RAMH based on Trip Advisor reviews and deal. We stayed for about $150, which was excellent for this location. The guys at checkin were high energy and welcoming in spite of a long checkin line. Our 21st floor room was very clean and had an absolutely gorgeous view of the city. Parking was fairly easy w/ adjacent garage for $20 overnight. There is a hotel restaurant, the Rowdy Tiger, but no complimentary breakfast, which we would not expect from a downtown hotel. There is a large lobby lounge with lots of seating and board games for hanging out. We would most definitely stay here again if the price was right.
