Fuimos en pareja, en diciembre para pasar unos días relajantes antes de la Navidad y aprovechar el bonito Balneario que hay en Bad Wildbad. Teníamos contratado media pensión y la anulamos Tras la primera cena, eran productos de mala calidad y el servicio no era profesional. Las habitaciones eran muy antiguas.

Llegamos a este hotel a las 22 horas por problemas de trafico. Pero cual fue nuestra sorpresa? al desayunar a la mañana siguiente, me cambié de mesa, pero vino un empleado (el hijo de la señora que hace de recepción) y de mal modo y levantando el tono de su voz me pidió que me retire de la mesa........desayunado lo enfrente para decirle en buen ingles que no ma había gustado su tono. Me quiso despedir del hotel a mi y a mi hijo. Al solicitar una corrección a su madre pasó lo mismo, no quiso echar literalmente (Get out !!!!!!) realmente una falta de educación y también una discriminacion a todo aquel que no fuese alemán !!!!!!!! Un mal momento, el hotel muy bueno pero gerencia por madre e hijo de malas maneras y falta de educación y tacto. Merecemos las disculpas, caso contrario haremos una demanda formal......Carlos Herrera
Avoid this hotel it is NOT 4 star or luxurious

We stayed 3 nights and even before staying the first night we were searching for another hotel as our experience was so bad. Unfortunately there were none available.
We are used to staying in 4 and 5 star hotels and this is certainly not either. The room was awful - mould in the shower, broken light, laminate floor which was not cosy or welcoming, mis-matched furnishings that clashed - orange and red sofa, blue walls, pink chintz curtains- absolutley not 4 star or even 2! The room was enough to give you a headache! We set about explaining the room was not suitable, trying to be diplomatic. We were shown two other rooms which were more expensive and told how much they were. I was shocked, I had complained about a room which was not value for money and I was being asked to pay more...not for a much better room but ones that actually had matching furnishings from the 1970's! We reiterated our disappointment with our room and we were not prepared to pay any more and we were told they were our choices!
As there was no other rooms in the town and the value for money already awful I was not prepared to pay more or continue to argue as this person, who later turned out to be the owner did not care. She clearly only wanted our money!
We wrote an email that evening complaining, and was told how good value the "extras" were. I didn't bother replying. It is true you get access to the spa, and a discount on travel and the cable car, however I was paying for a hotel room, not these things! I'd happily pay for the spa etc! This is clearly how they justify the costs of the rooms as this was more expensive than a lovely hotel we had stayed in in Baden-Baden.

We arrived in the middle of Corona crisis without knowing exactly what to expect. We can say that we enjoyed our holidays thanks to the area around the hotel, hiking and swimming and certainly by the friendly people at the hotel

We stayed one night in Mokni’s Palais, hotel Rossini. The rooms are bit outdated but really cosy and clean. Breakfast was positive suprise and service in the hotel was extremely friendly. You also have free access to spa and voucher that gives you some rebate from funicular (I really recommend that). The hotel lacks airconditioning in the rooms so during the summer it can be quite hot.
