Under no circumstances…

The pretty pictures that promote this hotel are lovely! Nice Jacuzzi bath, a television you can watch in bed and even a little kitchen. You could bring the nightlife of Sukhumvit back here and they’d be really impressed by your choice of hotel… except they probably wouldn’t. The jacuzzi bath doesn’t work (and the hotel staff know this and shrug it off), the TV doesn’t work, the cigarette burns in the carpet are impressive as is the damp and mould. It’s really upsetting that hotels ‘draw you in’ with their lovely photographs and it’s only when you get there that you realise you’ve been had. Go somewhere else!

Good location

I’m a regular visitor to Kingston suites and previously to the Royal President Hotel next door currently being refurbished. Because I am there so often it has become like a second home and a few of the staff I have known for years. The rooms and facilities are good. Slightly disappointed that the swimming pool was closed and hope it is open again next time. The staff are always nice, polite and helpful. It’s a great location - minutes away from sukhumvit road and the BTS railway and yet quiet and peaceful at night time. I recommend it for your next visit to Bangkok.

Great room let down by noisy elevator all day and night

Comfortable spacious rooms but the double escalator next to the rooms means constant noise all the time stopping g sleep at night for those nearest . Nice staff secure good location just noisy all the time .

Amazing stay

The hotel is as advertised. The rooms are nice and spacious. However, there was a moldy smell in the room upon our arrival. The reception staff is very friendly. Yoko made sure that we visited most of the popular places in Bangkok. The hotel service was on point. Tuk-tuk was always available when we needed it. The hotel location is convenient. It's a walking distance to Terminal 21 - the mall with a lot of restaurants and to their safe trains. 2 things that they need to work on are: 1. The pool was not available and we needed it the most coz it is too hot there. 2. There is a kettle and mugs in the room but they do not offer coffee, tea, and sugar unless you ask.

A hotel best avoided in the Bangkok area.

I had the misfortune to stay in this hotel recently for one night (I was due to stay two but cut my losses after one) it was a poor experience. Firstly , the good news, the staff were friendly and chatty, the location was very good. The big problem here was the suite itself which was very poor: The front door was damaged, it looked like someone had forced it open before I got there. The TV in the sitting room worked Ok but there was a lack of English channels. The kitchen presses were falling apart and not clean. The AC kind of worked but had black mould around it, and there was only one controller for both AC units (the remote did not work so well) The bathroom was mouldy and the paint work was starting to crack and break apart. The bedroom had the same issues, the AC did not work very well and leaked water onto the carpet. The carpet was dirty and needed a good clean. The TV in the bedroom did not work as it had no decoder or aerial attached. The window was filthy and faced another building. The bedroom had a serious mosquito problem, I killed two the first evening there but I still had 6 or 7 bite marks the next morning. The breakfast buffet was very poor, small selection of low quality items. I left after one night and went to a good hotel. I am sorry to say this is one place to be avoided in Bangkok.
