10 months and still no refund!

I find it shocking that after almost a year when your hotel was closed, Thailand was not accepting foreign nationals and our UK government was not allowing international flights to Thailand that we are still awaiting a refund for a 4 day family stay at this hotel from last August. You clearly have a department that can operate your facebook page, why on earth can you not refund us our money. I have sent numerous emails and have been told that when the hotel is open we will receive our money, still we wait and I’m positive that you have been open at some point during the past 10 months!
I wonder how your Manager Patrick Janssen feels about you holding customers’ money for so long during these times that are financially fraught for many of us?
The Square Restaurant

Recently, I had called the subject restaurant to book a group of 30 people for luncheon in the next month earlier on Wednesday (currently being open for Thu-Sat dinner only). The response I got was negative that the F&B Manager was not comfortable to accommodate my group due to being on Wednesday, not Thu/Fri/ Sat. In my own point of view, if this hotel operator still opens the restaurant on such aforementioned day and time, how this hotel could generate the sufficient income and ultimately pays the salary to the staffs unless the hotel plans to shut down sooner.

Being an Accor Gold member, I got a free upgrade to a room on the Executive Floor, and god damn, those views :) The room was very nice, big and spacious bathroom, with all the amenities, but it'd be worth it for the view alone. Staff was very nice, breakfast was more than decent, and there's a nice biergarten outside with live music, in case you don't want to go out on the town.
The pool area is nice, too, but a bit too shady for my taste, and the water was quite cold (it wasn't that hot when I was in Bangkok last time, so getting in and out of the pool was a bit chilly).
One downside to this hotel is that cocktails were quite expensive, and quality was average at best for some of them. But all in all, I'd still definitely recommend this hotel. Of course, the location is also pretty perfect.

This is my regular hotel in Bangkok, and I love it. However, on this occasion I was extremely disappointed to discover that the hotel was almost shut down. The downstairs bar/restaurant was closed (where should I redeem my welcome drink vouchers?) There was no laundry service; in fact no answer to the telephone on any of the service numbers, so no room service either. The fridges in our rooms (suite and adjoining room) were empty. One fridge did not work. One coffee machine did not work. The buffet at the executive lounge was closed, with smaller plated selections provided. It would be better to close the hotel until there is sufficient demand to open it properly. I certainly would not have booked if I had known how it would be. The biggest failure of the hotel was not to warn me when I made the booking.

All staffs were so helpful. Front desk crews, K.Mod and K.Toey were willing to serve and to answer customers. Bell boys, K. Oh and K. Koh would help you enthusiastically. Especially manager K.Lookpla and K. Nan made my stay more convenient during recuperation after illness. I felt so thankful to them. They all had service- minded attitude. Definitely recommend the hotel to stay if travel to BKK
