This could have been five stars!
We visited as part of our anniversary celebration. The team at the property were very nice and provided exactly the room I had requested, well done and thank you so much. The views from 1018 are amazing; a great side view of the river from the bathtub and a front view from the marvelous balcony. Very well appointed room and good sleep quality. What could have made this five stars: - Information about what is open and what is not; we had to find out that the boat service is not running at this time - Food choice: we do understand the COVID-19 situation but the menu was so not worthy of the place. After two days, one easily makes it through all food choices. Very disappointing. On the last day, we had to go for lunch at a neighboring property and their menu offered a MUCH wider choice. Otherwise, it was a delight to visit the Shang again; we wish you all success for the coming weeks and months. BTW, we brought some Shangri-La home; the scent is AMAZING!!!
Fantastic Service, Great Facilities!
A last minute decision of heading to Bangkok for a couple of nights saw me book the Shangri La, and I was not disappointed! Two friends accompanied me and, all together, the three of us were nothing but amazed by the fantastic service. Every single staff member, from the door security, to the conceriege and the room attendants were incredibly helpful and friendly. One conceriege attendant in particualr, named Ja, was a delight to interact with - her customer service was impeccable! At one point we did experience an issue with our door access key - very promptly the Technician and Guest Services Manager were quick to fix the issue so again I have only kind words to say about the experience. I will certainly be returning to the Shangri La - Bangkok soon and look forward to utilising the amazing facilities once again!
Great service, wonderful hotel
Shangri-La is one of the best hotel in Bangkok. Room is clean and staffs are super friendly. Breakfast is awesome. Especially thanks to server Ms. Yuwannee, chef Micheal and their team. We can go Iconsiam easily by free ferry, and BTS station is just beside the hotel.
Very good personal service
Was not a good start for our diner with a few hick-ups... However we are very happy with the intervention of Khun Joy, the manager of the restaurant, thru her care to us. She truly listened to our feedback and found the right balanced in answering to them. Really appreciated - very professional.
So impressed with everything
My family spent our fantastic time here. It was for my wife birthday celebration. We appreciate their welcoming that was wonderful more than our expectation in the Covid-19 outbreak. Khun Yuwannee, Khun Jose, Khun Chart and Khun Pank, who are Next2 cafe staffs, are very friendly and served us perfectly. It's our great memory and we will come back here for sure.
