The hotel location is good.

The hotel location is good. The room is clean too. But there were 3 problems. First, the room is small. No chairs. This makes eating difficult. Second, It is that the security box works erratically. You may or may not be able to unlock and lock. The staff did maintenance, but it didn't improve. Third, TV does not display in full screen. The staff did maintenance, but it didn't improve.

LOCATION GREAT. WHITE SHEETS. ESSENTIALS THERE.

Studio Nana could use a bit of renovation still it was good for 25€/double. Overview about the pros and cons (room 305): PROS: + location is great. In the core of Soi 11 but still very quiet as in a side street. (Soi 11/1) + queen size bed (room 305) with white, clean sheets. + window can be opened with view to Soi 11/1 (limited due to all the a/c constructions) + they let us check in 2 hours before (at 12.00) - we booked 4 nights but only stayed until 8 p.m. at the day of departure (3 nights). + ok friendly for Thailand. + BTS Nana 1 min walk away. + great cheap and good restaurant on the corner to Sukhumvit road. + free water daily (not mineral - the plain dead chang water at least in glass bottles though) + friendly cleaning staff + boutique style with free soap, shampoo and body wash. + safe in the room + elevator + quiet for sleeping + TV - if anyone cares + a/c worked fine + laundry service in Soi 13 after the Ambassador on the left down some stairs in the basement for 69THB/kg. + after the log in page wifi was working fine. CONS: - the hotel passed its peak and could use a makeover. - the shower was a bit messy. curtain 1m too short and due to the construction with the glass bathroom not movable. - quite some fungus in the corner. easy to be replaced with new silicone!! - the regular shower head plus the rainforest shower head were both switched on as the valve was broken. - the window view was limited due to an interesting facade plus all the a/c boxes outside. - the cupboard's inlay was peeling off on the outsie. - NO hooks ANYWHERE in the room. only 3 hangers. - extra pillow had fungus so it was not used. - the coffee machine in the lobby was only decoration. In general it was a good stay for 25€/night in a double but with a bit of effort from their side it could look much better. The Business Inn on the opposite side has slightly cheaper, old fashioned rooms but some of them have renovated bathrooms with better window views. They are a bit harsh at the reception there. Both hotels work fine for a short stay in BKK's Soi 11, where you find night entertainment, bars, street stalls and all you need. We would come back and recommend a stay there. What we noticed: the lack of tourism made people a bit friendlier than they used to be! Still not highest standard but for Thailand not too bad. So it's a benefit when tourism goes down ;-) at least for travellers.

Adequate for a short stay

Stayed 2 nights on a stopover to Bali. Room was adequate. Clean with essential facilities. Bed was firm which suited me, and sheets were clean. Bathroom was integral with a frosted glass screen and door. Overall value for money and convenient location for us. Oh and the restaurant at the end of the street produced excellent local food night and day!

Sign says Comfy bad. Not comfy. I would prefer sleeping on the sidewalk. Full of rats outside. Bad attitude. Keep away from there. The shower is dirty, filthy. Don't feel like I'm getting clean in that shower.
