Got a really low rate on the room, so didn't expect a lot. But I was pleasantly surprised. Everyone of the staff from receptionist down to housekeeping was friendly and helpful. Everything was very clean. The beds were comfortable and the a/c worked well. Good water pressure in the shower. The grounds are well kept and the gazebo in the garden is a nice place to relax. There's a little stand in the lobby with hot water and 3 in 1 which was cool. There was a large fridge in our room. It's perfect for a transit hotel, only a short distance from the airport. It's about a 15 minute ride to the Lat Krabang Airport Link. But there's not much in the area itself. If you want to see the city, might want to get something further in. All in all a great stay and I would definitely stay here again.
Very good transit hotel. 10-15min taxi ride from the airport (approx. 150baht). Room was clean. Aircon cold. Receptionists very helpful. If you are planning on exploring the surrounding area, there is honestly not much to see. Better off going into the city, but beware as most taxi drivers will not take you, as they think it is too far away(?). Very good value and good option for a couple of nights.
I have stayed at the Suphan Lake many times. It's only a few minutes from the airport and great if you have an early flight out of BKK or a late arrival. It's quiet, rooms are clean and neat and well maintained. THe staff is excellent and helpful. there is a nice walking path right the hotel in the park, I highly recommend this hometel.
Not really 5 star hotel, but the setting is outstanding
This isn't really a 5 star hotel, but the beauty of the property, tranquility of the surroundings, and friendliness of staff can't be beat and make up for the few shortcomings. Let's get the shortcomings out of the way: the rooms with a balcony have a sliding glass door but no screen, so mosquitos can enter. There is no hair dryer. No breakfast (coffe and tea are available by the lobby). If you don't want to eat Thai food from street restaurants with no English menu, you aren't going to be happy. The bed was a bit lumpy and typically hard. Our room only had one night stand, and the outlet provided was needed by the lamp. OK, so what's great? Spotless room. So quiet, the only thing we heard at night was a bird in the tree: no dogs barking and no roosters crowing! The view out the window is of the flower garden with coi pools with guppies. Just beyond the fence is a city park with a lake. We took walks around the lake, and watched people feeding banana pieces to turtles. I saw a large water lizard. Lots of orchids and other flowers. Peaceful and relaxing. The receptionists were both extremely friendly and helpful with good English skills, including resolving a need to reboot the internet router. Just three blocks away there's a 7-11, several street vendors with OK food, and a day and night market. Just up the road is a Big-C supermarket (15 minute walk) where you can get all kinds of packaged groceries. We will definitely stay again on our way out of Thailand. It was 20 minutes by taxi to the airport.
Cozy Transit Hotel , Hop in Hop Out if you have some time to Kill between Flights
A Interesting Cozy Little Haven with Decent Hop In Rooms , Surprisingly very well Maintaned. Good Bed to Rest , Clean Bathroom and Friendly Reception Desk and House keeping Staff.. Can Walk out across in the park and the Streets and get Massages and Relax yourself. I Slept really well after a Tired Transit till the time i had to get in to my Late Night Flight. Take a Ground Floor Room for Easy Access and Comfort.. For me its a Nice Super Hotel at Eco Budget and for Transits Highly Recommended
