Good location, decent hotel

Reviewed 29 october, 2022

Hotel is opposite Estacio Sants with easy connections via subway and bus. Room needs upgrading. Shower has no storage area and the walls are peeling. Bed is comfortable, Breakfast a dismal assortment of cold cuts with two small hot pots which contain a stew of some sort and bacon. Internet not always reliable. I'd stay here again if the price is below 150 Euro a night

Excellent hotel

Great hotel experience. About a 10-15 minute walk to get to local restaurants and some of the sites. Right across the street from the train/bus station which was nice when we left Barcelona for Madrid. Definitely recommend.

Mediocre and noisy

Reviewed 12 september, 2022

This is a mid-level and rather mediocre hotel: basic when it comes to style, furniture, and amenities. Difficult to work from the room, as the „desk“ (just one small table in the room) is limited by the fridge below. Internet worked OK. Cleanliness OK. Safe / vault in room. AC worked well. Decent breakfast. Good location next to Sants train station and nice neighborhood for food and drinks. Easy access to airport and inner city thanks to the proximity of the train station (just take a regional train or the subway to the Sants station). My stay was extremely noisy because of a street fair next to the hotel. I understand that the hotel cannot do anything about that, yet I had hoped the windows would insulate more of the noise. Staff was rather incompetent, the person at check-in was not able to add my Marriott number to my stay. Good choice if booked at a reasonable price as a value-for-money option to discover or do business in Barcelona. Nothing particularly charming or romantic.

Wheelchair ♿️ accessible

Reviewed 11 september, 2022

We stayed in room 101 which was fully wheelchair accessible with a roll in shower. Not the biggest room I've stayed in but clean and comfy. Very close to the train station. The hot water was cool but I received a discount for that. Staff nice, but no porter. Have rebooked for October at half the cost I paid as a walk in. The lift was just big enough for my Storm 4 electric wheelchair.

Do not stay here! Robbed at the hotel lobby

Reviewed 20 august, 2022

This is the worst hotel experience I have ever had in my life. This hotel deserves negative stars. My bag was stolen at the reception while we were momentarily distracted by our children. It was a very traumatic and distressing experience. It had all our passports, my laptop, bank cards and ID. Staff were very unsympathetic and cold while we tried to figure out what happened to my missing bag until we looked through the cctv and saw a man take it. Very strange that the man was watching us alone and not the TWO front desk staff (did he not care to be seen by them?) We left the hotel completely terrified. I would not advise anyone to stay here. Apart from security, the rooms are basic and remind me of student accommodations. No service to speak of here. And no one from the property has bothered to reach out to me to talk about this horrible ordeal that happened on their premises. Extremely angry about the whole situation and not what I expect from a Marriott brand which had been the only reason why we trusted and booked this property. This singular act ruined our summer vacation that we had been planning for a year! My family and I will never come back to Barcelona not to talk of this horrible hotel!!!!
